LOL... I think I'm the only to buy this product... It's seems
To he great I it all dialed in accept for one huge problem... The steering bell crank.. It says all over evrything you read "direct replacement" however there is tons of bump steer due to the fact they decided to change the way the bell crank is secured to the chassis and I have yet to fix it.... Other than it's a great chassis even not being able to steer I still woop my friend that has the thunder tech chassis. Please help looking for answers I race on wed....

Oh and I replaced the arms and turnbuckles and bearings and caster blocks and bearing holders and steering bell crank still no dice... And I even tried putting a spacer with a washer and bolt down threw the chassis hoping to secure the bell crank with a shaft through it and there is still bump steer....

Bumpsteer is often caused from the steering linkage and suspension arms being on a different plane thoughout the range of motion. It can often be minimized with proper shims - with the suspension arms level, try to get the steering linkage/turnbuckle to be level with the lower suspension arm as a start point. Sometime people simply install the turnbuckle on the wrong side of the steering knuckle(top instead of bottom or vise versa), which results in huge amounts of bump steer. :)

LOL the turn buckles are not the issue they can only go on one way I have the traxxas alliminum ones ....and I did check just to make sure eveything is level as far as to arms and it looks perfect

take a pic of one side so we can see where you have both ends of the steering tierods (turnbuckles) mounted. No reason it would have any more bumpsteer than the stock slash.

I honestly don't see how the bellcrank assembly on the Gmaxx chassis can cause any more bump steer - it attaches in the same location as the stock Slash and on the same parts(skid and front assembly are stock). The only difference is the uper chassis attachement, which shouldn't have any impact on the steering(unless it binds or something, which is a different story altogether). Please show some pictures - it may be that something is installed differently or incorrectly that is causing the issue.

Ignoring the different bell crank fitment issue, compare your setup to the stock slash setup on the traxxas website:

Uploading pics from the iphone is decently easy. Go onto your photobucket, and find the option to upload pics from your mobile phone, it'll be an email address. Then copy that email address, make it a contact. I call mine Photobucket. Surprising, eh? Then under your "photos" app, click the icon in the left bottom of the screen that looks like a box with a arrow in it. Click on the pics you want to send, and click share, then click email. that will take you to an email with the pics in it. Then you can type in your contact name for the photobucket email, and it will send the pics to your photobucket. Then, copy the [img] tagged link below the photo to here, and post, voila, you have pics.

I wish you had some knowledge about the gmaxx chassis don't really care bout the phone
