Threads dissappeared????

Have I lost my sanity and imagined a sick converted MBX6T in the truggy forums? That thread *vanished* and I needed to look at the pics.

jnev 08.25.2009 08:29 PM

I am assuming this was not it?

Nope. That's a good conversion but the one I'm thinking of had a custom mount, dual Savage Flux battery trays, and was pretty slick. I even posted in it and can't find my subscription or post.

Arct1k 08.25.2009 10:19 PM

I went back 6 pages in truggy to feb nothing there that was deleted...

BL_RV0 08.25.2009 10:20 PM

Yeah, I've noticed my post count dropping randomly...

Metallover 08.25.2009 10:36 PM

Maybe it was moved or the title was changed? Maybe it was moved to a different thread then deleted?

OZ-RUSTLER 08.25.2009 10:41 PM

I think it was longbill76. Maybe it was deleted because he has his own motor mounts.

rawfuls 08.26.2009 12:33 AM

Oh, now that was one sweet conversion, it was all red and black, RX8 bl setup, on a MBX6T or so, that was a really sick conversion, sucks it got deleted..

gtxracer 08.26.2009 01:23 AM

Wait...it got deleted because he had his own mount??? Since when are we the TRX boards? I hope that's not the case as that's the main reason I like being here - the atmosphere. ELE - everybody love everybody. Come'on people!

Maybe the server crashed and that thread was not backed up.

jnev 08.26.2009 02:07 AM

I remember that thread now... with the two Flux battery trays. But I also can't seem to find it. I highly doubt it would be deleted because he used his own mount.

big greg 08.26.2009 02:08 AM

here ya go

Arct1k 08.26.2009 05:57 AM

I do vaguely recall the thread and NO threads do not get deleted due to people making or buying away from RCM.

Peoples threads only get deleted if you start "selling" or "pimping" your own motor mounts on Mike's shit... aka Pooping in your boss's garden at the office BBQ.

Patrick 08.26.2009 07:15 AM

I can't find it on here either, but it is still on truggyracers

Marvin 08.26.2009 07:33 AM

Having read the RC-Tech thread, it was turning into a bit of 'that motor mount is great, when will you be selling them' which I'm guessing it may have turned similar here. So it is slightly like Arct1k described. It's a nice conversion though!

MetalMan 08.26.2009 02:48 PM

I recall that thread as well, but have no idea why it seems to have gone missing. Heck I make and sell my own custom-made motor mounts locally when people request them, but don't do it here for obvious reasons.

But anyways, even if he were planning to sell his motor mount(s) here, then I can't imagine much more than the post being deleted.

I make my own motor mounts too, and have made a few on request for others.

Oh no... this post and yours will soon "disappear"!

or, go directly to the source, look at the pics here!

http://www.elitercd.com/

and with the whole using the forums to compete with mike's business... selling things like knock-offs or clones of his mounts are one thing. But if you offer other motor mounts, with designs different to what Mike sells, I don't see why not. If someone wants what mike doesn't make, and somebody else has it, like a vertical motor mount, mike wouldn't get the business anyways.

BrianG 08.27.2009 10:17 PM

Well, if MetalMan, Arct1k, or I did not delete the thread, then it must have been the master Cyclops himself. And if so, he must have had good reason. I say just let it be...

nitrostarter 08.27.2009 10:40 PM

HotnCold did it! lol
