Going by the thread title I was expecting a picture of your balls or something equally disgusting...

As for the lipos, hope someone can test them asap.

Wishful thinking Mr. Pimp, Sorry to disapoint you.:na:

I'm Interested in seeing some test results myself.

Right now they say free postage on those packs too.

nitrostarter 10.01.2009 01:38 PM

Wow! Those like interesting. I might pick one up if I can scrounge some funds!(Wishful thinking...)

I thought Polyquest wasn't using Enerland anymore? Or are they the only ones?

You might want to sign in and add it to the cart to see the real price.... $123.03 for me... Not bad at all!!!

New industry standard 5C charge rates...

Anyone want a Mini Revo? I need to buy some batteries....

I didn't see that, probably the super slow shipping. Who's gonna want to wait to get their meathooks on those packs ? Nobody. LOL.

nitrostarter 10.01.2009 01:54 PM

I dont see the free shipping anymore either...

Polyquest is Enerland's own brand. I wonder when will Enerland add the new cells to the website?

I was actually talking about Enerland. They don't show the 45C cells in their site and it would be nice to see the little discharge graphs like the other cells.

snellemin 10.01.2009 03:21 PM

RClipos.com list them as 43C/70C or is that some old stock..?

That link was in response to nitrostarter saying he didn't see the free shipping, I just forgot to quote him

Damn, I'm picking up one of those $2.29 T-shirts. :na: What a deal! :yipi:

I'm pretty excited about these packs. Waiting to see how they will perform. Subscribed.

cembom 10.01.2009 10:14 PM

Were the older polyquest lipos good? I am looking for a 6s lipo with about 4000-5000 mah but 3700 should be fine with 45c and 1500 kv.

I still run my RC lipos brand and my 25C and 30C Polyquests packs. Amazing performance still.

BL_RV0 10.01.2009 10:35 PM

I'd like that 6s 4400, but I just can't justify spending $324 on a lipo.

I bought 6 for friends and family, but no "Fat Kid Friendly" sizes for me

Yeah, polyquest have been a high end brand for as long as I have known. 45C, wow, we are getting to the limit now for perceivable punch increase over a lower rated pack. I can see by spring we should have 50C rated packs no prob, at least at the rate it is going at now. I think Hyperion should be releasing a 'VZ' line of packs to fill the top tier pack market, I would think they would try to get 45C from them as well, only makes sense at this point. I think they should be focusing on increasing the energy density from the packs, as I would rather have that than a bit more punch, cuz to be honest, I think we don't need anymore performance than a 40C TP pack has, but we could definitely use more runtime for sure.

Interesting, I am starting to think that constant and burst C rates go up non-linearly, or in other words: burst looks like it goes up by the linear decrease in cell resistance in ohms (cell Ri), and constant goes up non-linearly, as you need exponentially lower cell resistance to increase constant C rating linearly. So real world performance I think is increase exponentially as C rating increases... or maybe not?
