maxxdude1234 02.21.2006 06:33 PM

:jawdrop: we need a smilie for 'jawdrop'!!! I would say BL conversion, but I don't think it needs it. :D:D:D

maxxdude1234 02.21.2006 06:36 PM

Just to add. Theres also a T-Maxx 3.3 aswell :D

crazyjr 02.21.2006 06:40 PM

already got the link up

BrianG 02.21.2006 07:26 PM

It's about time they had another stronger motor out there! A lot of people end up replacing the motor with a bigger one, so it only makes sense that Traxxas tries to make that upgrade unneeded (and gets the money). I wonder who's gonna be the first one to use the OEM extended chassis for their BL conversion? :032:

squeeforever 02.21.2006 07:58 PM

i think that will be me :D :D already starting to think about how to do it... also, did you see the center diff with rear brakes for it?

squeeforever 02.21.2006 08:23 PM

my sentiments exactly :D:D

coolhandcountry 02.21.2006 09:07 PM

The diff looks almost fit a emaxx

nbcaznmaster 02.21.2006 09:12 PM

lol, i think i saw a lightbulb over coolhan'ds head...

kmracer66 02.22.2006 12:09 AM

what the crap man? jeez. how dissapointing. i just bought mine like 3 weeks ago. damn.

oh well. im going BL anyways. i might snatch that extended chassis up though. ;)

kmracer66 02.22.2006 12:12 AM

looks like it comes with p2's, i see red spacers on the pushrods.

kmracer66 02.22.2006 12:21 AM

and i hope to be the first to use the OEM ext chassis for the BL setup. i could run 8 cells in-line!

Dafni 02.22.2006 02:27 AM

kmracer, please use the edit button!

Man, this tranny with extra brakes and diff is sweet!

Sneeck 02.22.2006 11:09 AM

I wonder who the hell designed the rear brake assembly. How genious lol.

Quite dissapointed in traxxas again for not making it big block. Revo will own truggy's w/ big block.

kmracer66 02.22.2006 12:18 PM

how many cubes is it? is it just an .18?

Sneeck 02.22.2006 12:39 PM

.20

Still uses the stock revo .15 mount. Just on the edge of blick block mt class.

Think of it this way Sneek, all the power of most Big Blocks that one can put in it with no conversion

squeeforever 02.22.2006 06:01 PM

its actually a .198 but still...i would perfer a small block anyway. it uses less nitro for longer inbetween refueling. oh, and you wont be able to fit 8 cells flat. the extension is in the front of the servo mounts....

nbcaznmaster 02.22.2006 06:40 PM

Small blocks are deffintly better for racing, but they are more TOUCHY. its harder to tune and keep temps down and whatnot. They gotta better rpm though.

kmracer66 02.22.2006 06:41 PM

you're right. never mind then.

boss 302 02.22.2006 06:50 PM

and some of they big blocks get pretty heavy and weight is ussually a racers enemy

Or with O.S. TZ in it - Mine is too fast to drive - I have to immediately switch to 2nd gear to get around the track - First does nothing but pull the wheels up.... Quite fun to drive - not so much around the track - my stock revo kicks the TZ's arse around the track - lol

Sylvester 02.22.2006 08:18 PM

lol, too much power is worse than not having enough! IMO.

coolhandcountry 02.22.2006 08:33 PM

Well with not enough you can still make it around the track.

Sylvester 02.22.2006 08:35 PM

Yep.

HotnCold 02.22.2006 08:42 PM

I agree with ya sylvester - maybe the setback arms will help a bit. Maybe i should adjust my thumb to not squeeze the trigger so fast and so far........NAaaaa - I'll go with the arms... :005:

Sylvester 02.22.2006 08:45 PM

lol!

coolhandcountry 02.22.2006 08:51 PM

I am like you hotncold. It is nothing like a little wheelie power. If you can look cool riding wheelies around the track. Why not?

True, but what if your in a VERY important race, and you have to take 1st?> than what? huh? ;)

coolhandcountry 02.22.2006 09:02 PM

A good slipper not so tight it squeels for mercy.

HotnCold 02.22.2006 09:32 PM

whats a slipper??

coolhandcountry 02.22.2006 09:49 PM

Well it is a thing that I shot screws thru so it wouldn't slip. Never had a problem replacing it. :D

boss 302 02.22.2006 09:58 PM

neither have I

you use your thumb........interesting. Do you steer with your left hand? :005:

That's why every truggy has a .21 ?

You can swap the stock engine for a big block no big deal, but I have my doubt's if that tranny can handle true .21 power.

nbcaznmaster 02.23.2006 07:30 AM

Well, depends on what truck u have. Some trucks are better with big blcok like LST, but for a revo, small block has more than enough power

My thoughts exactly. When mike and i speak of the slipper slipping i dont even hear his voice anymore, all i hear is a lotta clicks and clacks ( like listening to dolphins talking )LOL = )I hope that when the date for the bash gets straightned out you are able to come to the race. It's like were brothers already - I am the local hammer round these parts. If we team up theres no slipper that can stop us.. Mwuaahahahahahahahaaaaaa... Should be interesting to say the least. :027:

Dafni 02.23.2006 03:17 PM

LOL Yeah, HnC, Mike told me about your view on slippers, and about your crooked chassis.... I can't wait to see the hammer in action!
