Losi -> new car

Just saw it on the website. It will be released 10-22-09, what could it be? Looks like a truggy? But, they already got the 8ight-T?

What do you guys think...?

FG101C 10.15.2009 10:33 AM

18th scale corr truck.

Snipin_Willy 10.15.2009 10:46 AM

1/10 4wd corr truck?? Would be nice to see them follow traxxas even though I do not believe the class will take off like the 2wd corr class has. They could very well do doing the associated thing in making a 1/18 corr truck...which seems pointless.

Bondonutz 10.15.2009 10:51 AM

+1 4wd corr ???

skellyo 10.15.2009 10:52 AM

Those look like some really knobby tires and the body isn't covering the wheels, so I have doubts that it's a CORR truck of any kind.

nitrostarter 10.15.2009 11:57 AM

Those are Zombie Maxx tires. Not covered by a body. I'm saying a brushless monster truck.

YogyBrushless 10.15.2009 12:00 PM

i think everybody should just drop the "Suspense" theme its getting old! just release the damn thing.

nitrostarter 10.15.2009 12:02 PM

I agree with the Just release it way but Companies dont. When they advertise a product and leave for suspense, it entices speculation and searching which often leads people to other parts of their website and possibly buying something else.

brushlessboy16 10.15.2009 12:13 PM

Desert Mt.

Zombie maxx tires, LED lights, LST platform.

Just my guess.

They are stuck on that "desert" theme

Snipin_Willy 10.15.2009 12:32 PM

I'll hedge another bet. With HPI and Traxxas taking the brushless MT market away, this may be Losi's try at taking some of their lunch. Plus 1 for brushless MT. (Can't find the plus symbol on my blackberry).

suicideneil 10.15.2009 03:13 PM

BL MT, would be nice to have an E-LST or E-Muggy that could eat the Erevo and Emaxx for breakfast... *nom nom nom*

Bondonutz 10.15.2009 03:22 PM

You boys may be right, good eye spotting the Z-Maxes.

I just hope they leave it without the losi system. Just as a roller.

rootar 10.15.2009 04:40 PM

they wont even sell the the eight E without the xcellerion crap in it, a roller is garunteed NOT gonna happen....

PedeBasher 10.15.2009 05:55 PM

Sweet! It will be at the iHobby! I will try and get pics.

that is what I am thinking.

Brian 10.15.2009 07:01 PM

bl mt... from losi?... with their current business philosophy, that seems kinda hard to imagine.

lincpimp 10.15.2009 07:29 PM

I would like to see losi do a bl mt, but the losi bl system is definitely not up to snuff. I know my bl lst and muggy will easily eat an erevo for lunch! Had them all and all are gone save for the lst/muggy.

76Bentley 10.15.2009 07:58 PM

I would guess a brushless monster truck too and I bet you see the Losi electronics on 4s with more of a 10th scale truck.....not as large as the XXL or LST line. More Maxx/Savage size and if they have the diffs off the XXL in their I would sign up for one.

Geogenesis13 10.21.2009 06:12 PM

Sorry to bring this up again but Losi's new car is a Ten-T, and unfortunately nitro. Anyone wanna do a convert for it.

simplechamp 10.21.2009 06:29 PM

Better than their 1/24th crawlers, and YET ANOTHER Mini-T off-shoot.

I'd guess Losi will make their own conversion for it like they did with the 1/8ths, or release an E-Ten-T eventually

They don't have to, remember the speed T

JAILBIRD 10.21.2009 06:43 PM

NEW 1/10
TEN-T Nitro Truggy RTR, which features Losi’s revolutionary Remote On-Board
Starting System (R.O.S.S.) I'm very un-impressed.

The remote starting system sounds cool, if your into nitro .

It is a neat idea, just not my thing. I have virtualy no interest in nitro or 1/10th scale. I understand companies have to market to the masses, I just wish they would listen for a change, instead of trying to tell us what we want.

wow..I'm like....sooooo excited and stuff....woah... way to top TRX Losi!

Instead of standing over the smelly nitro pulling on a cord wondering why the @#$@ it won't start, we can now stand far away pushing a button wondering why the @#$@ it won't start. Yippie.

*Yawn*

Bondonutz 10.21.2009 09:00 PM

Losi dissapoints me nowadays.

I was hopeing their SC truck was gonna be somthing special, NOT. Yeah the mid motor and Bind and Run is very cool, but thats it.

Another 1/36, The high roller. The coolest looking one yet but still, another one ?

The Speed-T nitro version. Gee, that was a brain fart at best. The electric version was pretty weak.

Now a 1/10 scale remote start truck, Come on ?

I guess Ol' Gil is getting old and the fresh ideas are few and far between. I only hope that the 8ights are not the final oncore of such a kick ass company ?

Wow you just don't get it do you? I think it's an awesome feature!

I think I can make it even better! First we'll have a Cox .049 that runs a mini-generator, which will produce power for the glow starter on a .12. Then the .12 will run a generator that charges up the starter pack for the main engine starter motor. After starting the .049 and .12 with a field starter, you will be able to press the start button, and you will be off and smogging up massive acreage! To make things easier, those 3 engines will all use different fuel.

You guys think I should submit this one to Losi's competition, or just apply for the patent now?

Quick get a patent!! Thats GOLD man!!

crazyjr 10.22.2009 08:44 AM

Has anyone looked at it yet? I was skeptical at first, but now i see my next conversion. It looks like a mini 8T, 1/10 not 1/12, but it looks good. Lose the nitro stuff and there looks to be enough room for plenty of electrics.
Here is the link
http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodID=LOSB0126

Unless i miss my guess, it has dual disk brakes, so either comes with or can be made to have a center diff in it

rootar 10.22.2009 09:17 AM

ill have to agree it looks good... except for the stupid remote start crap and the tires wheels and body.

i wont be converting one (i would never own a losi, lol) but its feature do look good for a 1/10th, its got everything youd want in a crt.5, ministe, or Ls10 (except metric hardware) ill have to say its a nice surprise on losi's part i think itll be a good platform.

skellyo 10.22.2009 09:30 AM

Yep, looked at it again, it's still Lame.

Kcaz25 10.22.2009 09:48 AM

I like it. Its icky nitro but I like it.
