"You've made it when you have your name on a little car"

That chick with the bird tats on her arms is really sexy, sumthin about a girl who's not afraid of grease and can weld .ZoomaZoomaZoomZoom

Metallover 11.14.2009 12:31 PM

That was great. Good exposure to the hobby imo. People will go into the lhs looking for a crawler and walk out with a crawler, helicoptor, and MT.

Was glad to see a Lipo and it NOT be a MaxCramps pack

What's_nitro? 11.14.2009 01:24 PM

Dam.... I missed it. I'll have to check out Hulu after work today.

tedo 11.14.2009 01:26 PM

Yes, it was a great episode. I feel the host has been in the hobby for a while.

rawfuls 11.14.2009 01:40 PM

If someone has a link where it's hosted online, I'd love to see it...

Metallover 11.14.2009 01:56 PM

Don't have a link, but first there was a lil losi crawler. Then he went to an axial and replaced the plastic chassis with an aluminum one. There was a time lapse and they explained the advantages. He didn't really drive either of them. After the Axial, he had a gube chassis crawler with a transfer case. I don't know what it was called; the chassis was red. He assembled that one and then he drove it. He locked the rear wheels and "dug in" to the ground and said it's just like a real crawler.

That nice showhost wasn't on though...:sarcastic: I'm not sure how long she's been gone.

Locking the rear is generally known as "Dig"

Locking the front is known as "Burn"

The only 7.2v nominal lipos I know of are maxamps... Because they can't sustain 7.4v under no load. Maybe they gave him lipo information?

Most likely they will show the episode on the spike tv network website in a week or so. :yipi:

Xtreme 4x4/spike TV

RCShocker 11.15.2009 07:35 PM

I DVR'd this show b/c I was at a comp this weekend. I am planning to watch it after the late football games. 1 of the guys I rode with/comp'd with this weekend know's Ian & Jesse personally. He had some funny stories which helped past the time of the 7 hr drive. :surprised:

Xtreme 4x4 is easily the most entertaining of SpikeTV's PowerBlock. There was a guy who drove up from Miami for the 1-day event in Alabama. Crawling has definately 100% taken off big time.

junkman 11.15.2009 08:28 PM

pretty sweet episode, wish there were more r/c tv shows. This one pushed a friend of mine over the edge that has been wanting a crawler for a while. Ordered up an axial today!

HomeGrown 11.15.2009 10:42 PM

i also watched it.. altho i think the crawlers are cool.. its just not for me.. i'd rather see my truck FLY!.. props to anyone who does it tho..

maxair45 11.16.2009 03:38 PM

Great show! I never really watch extreme 4x4 but I do like some shows on spike. I'm giving crawling a shot in the near future. I'm going to most likely try a redcat racing, or a exceed crawler just to get a feel for it and if I like it then i'll go into the name brands.

Arct1k 11.16.2009 05:47 PM

Any i missed it :(

Maxair - Look at the super bully axles - if you want a good cheap crawler - those others are a waste of $s

Erevocanuck 11.16.2009 06:38 PM

I`m watching it on the link I posted :yipi:

bigboi146 11.16.2009 07:06 PM

Pretty neat episode!

mistercrash 11.16.2009 07:59 PM

Anyone know about RC-TV? We got a weekly TV show up here in the great white North called RC-TV

What's_nitro? 11.16.2009 08:02 PM

I just watched it. :great:

MTBikerTim 11.16.2009 09:20 PM

Watched the episode on the spike tv website. Not bad at all. Makes me want a crawler.
