my STE is done

Just wanted to throw a pic up of my ste. I have been using this forum a lot for info on what and how for this RC. I just have the diffs to do and install my new 2.4 Futaba when it gets here next week.

Sweet, looks very nice. Also loving the MMP in there :).

muck 11.26.2009 08:44 PM

thanks me too.
I am happy i did not get the EZRun i was originally looking at.

magman 11.26.2009 10:14 PM

very nice....done any testing w/it yet? Is the motor one of castle's new ones?

suicideneil 11.26.2009 10:48 PM

Oooh, I like how that looks, like it alot.

Time to do some reading up me thinks...

magman 11.26.2009 11:05 PM

In looking at your truck further...it seems that a 1"stretched chassis would be ideal, especially w/those tires.

muck 11.26.2009 11:17 PM

yes it is the new MM Pro. I have about 2 passes in it. It was dark that night and has been wet since...

From what i have seen so far, on 2s lipo it is going to run very well.
I may try a 3s just so i can say i did LOL

Neil, i like it. It is set up like a 1/8th scale uggy including the braces.
I do not plan on racing it, just bashing it some.

suicideneil 11.27.2009 08:30 AM

Cool, thats what I wanted/ needed to hear; my main concern is the diffs holding up to bashing, since the rest of it looks very tough and well built- not skinny or flimsy at all.

rexasso 01.12.2010 03:14 AM

Yes thanks

In fact, I have taken down the servo from my emaxx and left the servo saver on it. I need to remove it.

i had tried to use a Kimbrough saver also and it is too thick for the lid.

I bought Dubro standard length servo arms from my lhs for around $8. They worked fine. You would just need Futaba splined arms.

tashpop 01.12.2010 08:33 AM

i have same problem, my servo arm is too thick.

Nard Cox 01.12.2010 03:12 PM

Does that MMPro fit below the stock body ?

muck 09.07.2011 10:28 PM

so here's what sucks, i sold this... person i sold it too did not use it.. now i am buying it back as a roller and am planning on throwing my SCT3800 in it... what sucks is i do not remember what gearing i was at LOL... Hoping 15T is a good start.. Looking forward to getting this back.
