Ok Guys...what is on your holiday wish list...if you could only pick 1 item..

If you could only have 1 rc related product, what would it be...

I would like from santa A NEW 1520 MOTOR FOR MY TRUGGY!

Takedown 12.08.2009 10:18 AM

Hmmm... TMM 25035-3 Car/Boat Z-SERIES would be what I'd want.

TexasSP 12.08.2009 10:21 AM

No more debt

George16 12.08.2009 10:26 AM

Either an MBX6 or Xray 808.

mistercrash 12.08.2009 10:34 AM

I'm reviving an old Tamiya TL-01 and building a brushless ERevo for my son. The time I spend in the garage building and tinkering, on the computer or at the HS shopping for parts, the look on his face when he finally gets to play with them and the time we'll spend together bashing and fixing what we broke :mdr: That would be my gift. Anyone have a tissue?

lol, "the gift that keeps on giving"? The trouble is, you never know what "gift" you get. Better (and cheaper in the long run) to get one of those "realdoll" companions: they don't talk, don't need to spend money on them, don't need to eat, don't need to take them out, and they don't say no.

A kyosho GT2 to build up for spring.. I'll get socks and a tie though

side note. I got my live in nephew this https://www.4yudu.com/ silk screening machine, for the gay artist in him lol

What's_nitro? 12.08.2009 12:00 PM

A larger, dedicated area to work on my projects. I hate sharing the basement with the furnace and all of my parents' old 5#!7.

rootar 12.08.2009 12:47 PM

I built me a new Xray 09 truggy for this year and ive decided to give my (new "rebuilt") Rc8t to the GF. :)

hootie7159 12.08.2009 01:04 PM

slash 4x4...and a lipo that lasts forever without charging :)

......and no more mortgage........ :)

brushlessboy16 12.08.2009 01:11 PM

an electric conversion for my 1:1.. paying for gas kills.

Lots and lots of lipos
along with a dx2s

Bondonutz 12.08.2009 01:15 PM

Castle Hydra 240 and a big bad assed NEU for my 48" Areomarine Challenger

skellyo 12.08.2009 02:59 PM

Hmm, not sure what I would pick...I just picked up a BND Losi Micro Crawler and Parkzone RTF P-51 Micro yesterday. Also just cancelled my preorder for a 4x4 Slash in concession for me buying a Canon T1i DSLR kit w/lenses.

Maybe just some time to actually wrench on my trucks and drive them?

BP-Revo 12.08.2009 04:39 PM

Hyperion Duo Charger + Power Supply and some extra batteries for my G2R so I can drive non-stop when I want to.

magman 12.08.2009 05:58 PM

A track w/in a 1/2hr. of my house

Unsullied_Spy 12.08.2009 06:09 PM

If it has to be R/C related, I'd go with a pair of 2s lipos for my mini Revo.

If it can be anything then I need another gun safe, I have 3 rifles and a shotgun that won't fit in my other safes and I hate not having them locked up when I don't need them. Either that or a shiny new supercharger for my Mustang, it is a wish list after all.

The gift that keeps on giving? Is that Chirpies? It is a canarial disease and it is untweetable...

You may not be able to fully appreciate how cheap I am, but I just made a gun cabinet out of a stand up freezer that my neighbor was tossing out... I even made the door switch work a 18" tube light... Even I have trouble appreciating how cheap I am sometimes...

I do have a real gun safe at home, this is for the shop!

Semi Pro 12.08.2009 06:52 PM

a good working xbox 360

im tired of thakeing mine apart every week to clear the e74 code by overheating it

You could eat coal and shit diamonds, James. The freezer idea is good but if my place burns down I'm SOL, those are hardly fireproof. Not so bad in the event of a burglary though, unless they're looking for my whiskey and hot pockets they'll leave the fridge alone!

So are we gonna take a collection and give Harold the 'escort' upgrade?

Slowkrawl 12.08.2009 08:11 PM

A steady job! I've been fighting with un-employment since may and am growing very tired of it. Currently been back welding for a few months but may be laid off again before the end of the week! Merry F'in Christmas!

redshift 12.08.2009 08:33 PM

That sucks Slow K. Maybe consider broadening your skillset, fab work is feast or famine and I've had my share of rat-slave jobs....

Metallover 12.08.2009 08:45 PM

A block heater for my pickup
A new Dremel
20 more pounds
A new Charger
A 9c hubmotor and controller
More lipos
Someone to cook me whatever I want
Someone to clean for me
A faster non-pos computer
a 4wd
New speakers for the weightroom (that aren't half blown)
An A in Spanish 2 (for that 4.0!)
A new hard drive for my ps2/computer
A double bass for guitar hero
A new soldering iron
A 3rd gen itouch (that doesn't crash ever 15 minutes)
A room in my house big enough for the ping pong table
Money
A thanksgiving meal every week
The weightroom at school was closed today due to barely 3" of snow.. Sure It'll add up to about 6 inches but what will the football team do if we all turn into scrawny tiny little midgets? I want the weightroom to never be closed again on a weekday.

As of now the thing I want most would be someone to cook delicious means for me whenever I want...

The problem is that I enjoy welding, and would just like to get my damn ticket.

But let's not turn this into a career advice thread:lol:

JERRY2KONE 12.08.2009 08:54 PM

Wow!!!

XMAS seems to bring out the best and the worst in some situations. Here's a toast to slowkrawl getting a new job, and Harold getting laid, and Magman your list just keeps growing and growing and growing. I already know that I am receiving a new Bosch worm drive circular saw for doing my woodworking stuff around the house. It's powerful, dependable, and built for right handers so they can actually see the cut line as they saw(Kool to me). The kids and the wife are all doing well and we are all in good health, so I guess I am happy just for that.

I grew up with just about nothing as a kid so I do not expect much in life these days, but I am happy with whatever comes my way. As far as R/C stuff goes I would love to get one of those Baja 5b buggies, but that is just too far out of reach yet with the economy. Money is flowing, but it is still a little bit too tight for us yet. The wife mentioned something about a new crawler, but who knows. I am already concentrating on next years Xmas hoping that we might finally get to take a trip to Australia and maybe New Zeeland for a well deserved vacation. Both are kind of our travel dreams before we hit our final retirement ages and settle down in the USA. Our tour in Korea is up in August/2011, and we have no idea where they might send us next. Anyway best wishes for all of you here on RCM and we (The Hill Family) hope that you receive some of what you want, and more of what you deserve. Merry Christmas to all and best of luck in the New Year 2010.

redshift 12.08.2009 08:55 PM

Agreed Slowkrawl.

I guess my one wish would be for this bucket-o-shit economy to turn around.

Best luck!

Hmm, not sure if shitting diamonds would feel good...

As for fireprrof you are most likely correct, but the fridge does have about 2" of foam in the sides, so it may be a bit fire retardent.

It does have a lock as well!

I am mainly using it as storage before I refinish the guns. Works fine for that!

JERRY2KONE 12.08.2009 09:02 PM

Disagree.

I would have to disagree with you there James. Fridges are the worst in fires. They are made mostly of plastic and once the fire gets to them the styrefoam insulation burns like crazy and gives off poisinous fumes that can kill you. Fridges go up like fire logs unless it is a metal encasement fridge/freezer.

The nearest one from where you are is well over an hour ...for me, almost 2 hrs. away

Freezebyte 12.09.2009 12:14 AM

Pffft, you guys are lucky. There isn't a track within 2 states of me.

PedeBasher 12.09.2009 12:19 AM

E-Hyper 9 I think... Been in love with it since I first saw it.

All I want for Christmas is...

http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/atta...1&d=1260341472

...the rest of my truggy!

Picked up a chassis, center diff and a few other bits cheap off of ebay, already had the motor and esc. Now I just need the D8T kit and a decent servo! Of course I would prefer a MMM for racing, but I can live with the MGM for a while.
