Hilarious!  to bad some new guy to the hobby or a complete idiot will probably buy it...--Josh

simplechamp 07.13.2010 12:14 PM

"I was doing well over 120mph when a blow out caused me to crash." LOL

Bondonutz 07.13.2010 12:33 PM

Homeboy was smokin crack when he listed that ?
Pics dont even show much let alone the damage that accured during his 120mph wreck.

Aside from the extraneous MPH claim, and him saying the MMM will run fine on 2s and NiMh packs, it not all that bad of a deal. $225 aint bad for all that stuff.

Maybe not a bad deal but I refuse to do business with someone who is such an obvious liar.

What's_nitro? 07.13.2010 12:52 PM

I wonder if he would accept local pickup?

TexasSP 07.13.2010 12:59 PM

I sent him a question asking about local pick up. We shall see if he responds before time runs out.

Where is he lying? That 120mph is probably scale mph.

rawfuls 07.13.2010 01:55 PM

Or maybe he was driving in the car, and someone slammed into the RC from the back? o.o
Just sayin'

Other than that, it's a pretty hilarious listing

TexasSP 07.13.2010 01:56 PM

He answered me and said for 150 he would end early and do local pick up. Seems a good deal to me. Anyone near Hanover?

Bondonutz 07.13.2010 02:02 PM

150 is a great deal ?

TexasSP 07.13.2010 02:04 PM

An MMM, Motor, and the vehicle for 150 cash and carry seems a pretty good deal to me.

rawfuls 07.13.2010 02:11 PM

That almost sounds too good to be true, to be honest.
Unless he really needs the dough...

Arct1k 07.13.2010 02:12 PM

MMM on 2s is fine - Runs my truggy at 20mph for kiddie mode...

BrianG 07.13.2010 02:56 PM

2s on the MMM might run into BEC drop-out, especially if using a high powered servo. Switching BECs typically like 1.5-2v of voltage headroom for proper operation. But, in a kiddie truck, it should be fine since current draw (and voltage sag) is low.

Obeast44 07.14.2010 10:25 AM

It didnt sell, so he relisted them for an even higher shipping cost! He even states in the auction he has the shipping so high to circumvent Ebays fees. $200 shipping, what a steal!

TexasSP 07.14.2010 10:54 AM

Wow, he is soon to be in trouble with ebay.

Bondonutz 07.14.2010 01:17 PM

Check out this guys other listings ? He's determined to sell his items and not get charged final value fees, even has a auction page for all RC auctions being sold in a lot starting bid .99 w/450.00 for shipping .

Obeast44 07.14.2010 01:22 PM

Ive already reported them, if I gotta pay the fees, so does he. I think its pretty sorry to try and slip a $200 shipping charge by somebody. Hes damn lucky I dont live in PA, I woulda bought them all and done local pickup :D

He could deny local PU if he wished unless stated on the page.

rawfuls 07.14.2010 01:32 PM

You can only enable Local Pickup, if he wants to deny it, he has to state so in the listing.

I also reported him, usually not the rat, but I think it's pretty crazy that he's trying to go past the fees.
I get killed on the fees, and so should he.

Actually, I don't think so. I placed a $0.99 bid (figured the buggy and MMM combo was worth $200.99). Shortly after that, I got a message with his phone# and saying that if I got all his R/C stuff for $440, he'd end the auction early. After I saw the auction ended, I called him and he said some guy in NM took him up on his offer, so he ended the auction early.

What's_nitro? 07.14.2010 03:29 PM

Interesting.....
