Wonder how efficiently the cooling works?

He's a crazy boat guy, has a HK Genesis that needs to be seen to be believed. The rest of his boats are just insane

Cody.McP 12.19.2010 08:24 AM

Oh wow that is crazy cool. I didn't know it was possible either. Imagine skiing/boarding down a hill and having that pass ya.

tashpop 12.19.2010 09:28 AM

coolhandcountry 12.19.2010 09:56 AM

Now that is pretty neat.
I wonder what made them try it the first time.

brushlessboy16 12.19.2010 11:22 AM

Thats awesome! Thats just great, someone had to have the "I wonder what happens if..." thought and this is the result. Yay Innovation.

TexasSP 12.19.2010 11:48 AM

Kcaz25 12.19.2010 03:20 PM

Wow!!! I can't stand it lol I have to get a FE boat. I wish I could understand what equipment he is using. The only thing I could understand was the 5000mah battery.

ambient temp keeps brushless cool in the winter, no problems. The water cooling pickup would be removed i would imagine?

junkman 12.19.2010 06:57 PM

I can't believe how well it works either. Kinda reminds me of those "mud boats" they use for hunting in the south. Some of those videos they are driving across a field with pretty much no water at all.

Hello Guys,

just wanted to tell you that this is acutally my HPR06 in the video driving on snow. I had the idea after some "Glühwein" (hot spiced wine) at the last meeting of the PBS Passau members and today I tried it the first time.

As some people had problems watching the video, the link in the first post of Gerwin is deactivated, now the video is available at our Youtube Account:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuNt0PUahTY

(maybe Gerwin could edit his first post, that anybody will see the change immediately!)

So thanks that you like if, I have already some ideas to improve the performance. This was just the beginning......

For any questions, I'll try to answer them.

Best regards,
Manuel

Can you tell us about the water cooling and why the end seemed to run kinda short for 5000mah (at least in surface cars and trucks). Did it use up 5000mah in that short amount of time?
