and here is the Beast on the road !

Must Watch This Video ! ------> http://www.youtube.com/user/Bmw325is...14/a8FwGRB49E4

first off u will notice the cold air intake sucking air , then as the car pass's by the camera you instantly hear the baby Gallardo scream its exotic sound !

the reason im reffering to the Gallardo is because Vw bought Lambo in 2002 .. when they designed the 2.5l 5cyl engine from VW they build it based on the Gallardo's engine

in the video the first video is my car , the second video in the same link is a Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera you dont see it but its on the boulevard right behind

now do u see any diffirence in the sound ?? loll

btw thats with the QTP Valve closed lollll QTP open sound 4 to 5 times stronger , it sounds really really mean ! ... i care the living shit out of everyone on the road , then if the cop stops me , close the valve and act stupid :mdr:

Video with QTP open ( my friend put his finger on the mic almost the hole way !he removed his finger right before a massive back fire 0:42 sec :mdr: )

josh9mille 02.12.2011 04:30 PM

Nice lookin car, I have always thought the new veedubs were kinda cool looking. I cant stand German engineering, or anything European engineered for that matter. Be sure to post pics of the turbo install!:yes:

DrKnow65 02.12.2011 04:43 PM

WOW those are some BIG pictures :lol:

I suddenly don't feel so bad about the full sized images I post up :intello:

That ride is super clean, very nice work :yes:

PBO 02.12.2011 05:11 PM

Looks like a fun project - the images are big, which makes them hard to enjoy

Are those AMG wheels legal inside those arches, looks like you'd scrub the outside of your tyres? we need a minimum of 2" in Aus otherwise it's a 'defect'

just updated my second post , the the 2 videos of the exhaust , if u ask me , sounds sick .. :party:

check it out :)

PBO 02.12.2011 05:18 PM

I'm keen to start a project car but I have limited time so I was considering starting at an 'advanced' evolutionary point to make things easier & more enjoyable. This is the engine bay of one I'm considering;

I'm less focused on the cockpit rather than the performance...

Why is that?

well , virtuly i have no suspension , no travel at all , maybe 1/4 inch max because of small tire flex my coilovers are set to the lowest and to the stiffest possible so in other words , if i come in a 45 degree angle apex at 70-80mph at the track the car will drift ( yes drift ! ) the hole way , even if its a fwd and even if i dont touch the hand brake , maybe because of the subs in the back :neutral:

but its awsome ! and even under extreme track racing and extrem cornering , it doesnt touch !

but its not low enough ... i need air bags and call it a day !

the car passed inspection over here btw :mdr:

_paralyzed_ 02.12.2011 05:21 PM

sweet car sweet upgrades. I'd say more but all I can think about is what a pain in the ass it was to view or post a reply because of the insanely large picture size. You'll get more views and replies if you decrease the size of you pictures.

nice project ! my brother owns one with RB26dett Stroked to 2.8l & 2 x Gt37R ... close to 800whp on cheap pump gaz :party:

for the bunny , i didint even start the real performance upgrades loll

performance upgrades are comming dont worry about it

but in my book

#1 handling & braking
#2 sound system ... love my music more then speed ( only because of my ticket history loll )
#3 complet performance setup

ive already drove my buddies a prelude with a h22 turbo ... stock everything else ... i distroyed a porsche on the high way , passed the 290km/h ... then my exit came up .... lollll i think u ca guess what happened to the stock disk's & pads at that speed lolll the car just simply did not brake , had to skip my exit , took a hole mile to brake ... using downshifting power , handbrake + trying to push on the brake pedal to floor as much as i can ... :surprised:

sick shit ! loll

PBO 02.12.2011 05:38 PM

It's not mine but it's on the market & I'm in negotiations with the 'boss' to purchase from the owner. Here's a dyno from a couple of years ago;

<iframe title="YouTube video player" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-THGNYiouWs" allowfullscreen="" width="480" frameborder="0" height="390"></iframe>

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/K7T76aHSHTY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
It does have better brakes than the Prelude :lol:

I was in an '84 crx when I got paralyzed. I was just getting prepped for an engine swap at the time of my accident. I had already stuffed 4 12" subs in the hatch and 17" wheels in the wells. Now I drive a van:oops:

That thing looks sick on those mercedes wheels, I can't believe you're going to change them.

That stance...:yes:

Good work man!!

You know, I wish I had a picture but a friend I had back in TN who was paralyzed had a customized muscle car with a roof rack that held his wheelchair. For the life of me I can't remember what car it was.

It was cool though, quite a feat of engineering the unit that handled the wheelchair too!

I have seen a similar setup here locally but on a newer model monte carlo ss.

That's too bad, I would love to msee it.

I drive from my wheelchair so I need a van with a lift. My next van will be a diesel then the fun can start.

R33 has the Brembos too. Only they are black instead of gold like on the R34 and the R33 ones are slightly smaller discs.

BTW from your opening post I was thinking this thing needs boost. Was happy to read later that Turbo was in the works. Very good man. I love working on anything German. Well engineered and everything is easy to get to. Also the electricals are easy too. Nearly everything is Bosch and they sort if stick to a standard formula which I am familiar with and find it easy to work around. Can't wait for the Turbo upgrade.

PBO I hope you don't expect to commute on regular basis in one of those Skylines man. If you do think you will be able to then you will be very disappointed man. I have driven a lot of Skyline GTR with those kind of HP figures and I have to say that as fun as they are they are a nightmare for a normal every day A-B commute. The boost threshold is somewhere around 4500-5000rpm and having to rev that high to get any kind of power in every day traffic is a nightmare. Also they are pretty gutless off boost. On boost they are an animal but trying to drive normally is almost impossible. Also have you driven a car with a multi plate clutch set up. If you haven't be prepared for a shock.
If you want a track car then disregard everything I said and go for it. You will be a very happy man behind the wheel of a heavily modified R34 GTR. Maybe you wouldn't want one with 500rKw as it will be a handful but it will be damn fun. Also bring a change of underwear to the track. You'll know why when it happens.:lol:

Good grief no

Unfortunately it's becoming increasingly unlikely I'll be able to buy in at the highwater mark - she who must be obeyed is taking issue with the expense...this will probably exclude GTR's altogether because I'd prefer a 34 over a 33

I may need to lower my sights to a stock Evo8 or similar & start building. Disappointing but as the saying goes "happy wife, happy life"
