Some People NEED to start Posting!

Ok People!

All the time I see LOTS of lurkers. People are browsing through the wealth of knowledge that has been established here.

I do it too!

What we need though, is MORE people to start sharing their projects, both tame and wild.

We NEED YOUR input on our projects.

This Forum has a section for ANYTHING your mind can dream up!

So Please, don't hesitate to comment on a thread that you're reading OR how about taking a walk on the wild side and create your OWN thread?

I am Sikes and I approve this message!

pinkpanda3310 05.11.2011 12:57 AM

Alright, chalk another post up to this lurker.

Guilty as charged. I have a project or 2 but low budget and family often get in the way of progress. A lot of the post on here a just great fun to follow and not interrupt the banter too.

Blown Up 05.11.2011 12:02 PM

"lurking" Thats awsome! I will try take pics w/ my next build. I have used this wealth of info to build 4 or 5 Rc's. My 3.3 Revo w/Advantage c/f chassis that I hogged out to put a 3905 tranny in backwards so the 2200kv CC MMM was forward, custom batt trays on both sides,RPM Arms,Traxxas alum rods and CVD's,STRC diff casses and cupsand some Tekno swaybars an wing mount. I can take pics now as a roller if people would like to see.

Bondonutz 05.11.2011 12:32 PM

I have 2 builds in the starting phase now, will start documenting w/pics and start a thread soon when time permits.

crazyjr 05.11.2011 02:54 PM

I haven't had much to add due to not enough time for posting, hoping that changes soon. I am working on using higher voltages on smaller rc's though, currently running a T4 with a lehner 1200 basic XL with a 4s 3700 mah lipo

Kcaz25 05.11.2011 03:19 PM

Lurking most days.

E-Revonut 05.11.2011 03:31 PM

I'm on here at least a couple times a day, I post when I have something worth posting or when I have an answer to a question or have a question needing an answer. I just posted all the pics from building my new SC10 4x4

lincpimp 05.11.2011 03:45 PM

Well, I know my post count is low, but I really do not have anything interesting or positive to add to this forum... Maybe if I had more rc's or a sharper wit?

Wait, did "opposite day" sneak up on me or something?

snellemin 05.11.2011 04:21 PM

My closest thing to RC is my Ebike. I don't think you people would be interested in the 18x18 tiles I put in my bathrooms, the headboard I've made for my daughter's room, me adding A123's in her little powerwheel atv, camping in my backyard, I liked the Fast Five movie at the Imax, or all the badass prototype computers and AllInOnes I've been receiving.

brainanator 05.11.2011 04:27 PM

Can I post again that I'm looking for a civil engineering job? Will re-locate anywhere in the country! Great GPA too...can get super high recommendations from all my professors too....

Otherwise I don't post often here because most people know what their doing, lol, unlike that RCU place....startin to get on my nerves how dense most people over there are.

bruce750i 05.11.2011 05:08 PM

DR.KNOW65 got me motivated to try High voltage. So I've been zapping 50volts to a 1/8 on-road.

The more factory electric kits hitting the streets, the less we have to modify them. It all comes in a combo(with a warranty) anymore.

Back to the Lurkers....

I totally redid it late last year will custom pieces made by a fellow forum member who was thinking of selling BL kits for the LST2/XXL. He made a new chassis, top plates and skids but he was distracted by his 12s powered 5T  So me and Rockula got some One-off parts that no one else has.

Here's the build at LST-Forum
http://hdrcvideos.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=20684

But the truck is doing very well and enjoying that 1717 ! Crazy long run times even with just 3300mah 6s packs, It's one of the best motors I've ever run in any of my MT's. Since the weather started get hot I haven't ben bashing much, I'm trying to concentrate on going to the track once or at least twice a week. It's not that I dont want to or like to bash anymore it's just that theres no decent construction areas around here and the track is so much more challenging.

Sweet build! I almost bought a muggy the other day...should have as I wanted to stretch it to the XXL length. Maybe another time

jnev 05.12.2011 02:47 AM

I'm guilty of lurking as well. Used to post pretty often, but haven't lately at all. On a side note, I bought a CRT.5 on a blowout sale Jammin was having. I think I got it for $90 shipped brand new with the extended chassis as well. Maybe time to jump back into the hobby...

I'll sell you a Muggy. PM me if interested.

I wonder if I qualify as a lurker? I certainly read about 1000 times more than I post.

swiftneed 05.13.2011 09:35 PM

wish I had more to add yesterday i did

_paralyzed_ 05.14.2011 07:04 PM

I really want to post more but I'm always afraid of the verbal backlash I will receive from Hippies and BondoScrots and LincolnPimples.

I am a delicate and sensitive young flower, in need of constant reassurance and raising of my self esteem.

I lack the testicular fortitude to associate with such a high caliber of people. The aforementioned individuals are clearly the alphas of their group, and to say I am intimidated is an understatement.

I aspire to one day be able to post confidently amongst such amazing talent.

Like my 5b thread, or my e5b thread, or my eLST thread. I'm about to start posting an e-savage with a center diff and 1717 thread, and just rebuilt my cybermaxx so that thread is coming.

If only I felt comfortable with yous scallawags:lol:

Brow 05.14.2011 11:21 PM

We all know and appreciate how shy, reserved and sensitive you are. It is also good to always see the respect and support shown to you in understanding of your emotional needs by those around here too.

Now that I have finished posting rubbish, I will let you all get on with posting for better reasons than I - just making up numbers. This is one of the reasons I do not post that often - got nuthin really positive to ad and it turns to a very wordy waste of forum space. And I have not had anything to drink yet today either!!!!

I do get a good laugh out of you guys though as well as some really good info on how to improve my RC experience.

That's good stuff man! Join in the conversations. Back and forth banter like this is part of what makes RCM great. An active forum is an active forum. We need intelligent discussion (and nonsensical babbling) as much as new posts.:na:

Brow 05.15.2011 12:29 AM

I tend to agree with you and have been in on some of the "nonsensical babbling" with you, Linc and the others on occasion. My wit pales in comparison with you guys, but I try.
I actually think it is a pity we can't hear the accents of all the people on here - I think it would be hilarious.

I am going to have to get the camera out, take a few pictures and post them up(don't get scared, they will be RC related!). My post count is somewhat down for my length of tenure here and I agree I have not shared enough. Selfish git that I am.
I will start to think of intelligent questions to ask to get a few posts going too - now, how to think?

You have all now witnessed an incredible display of the amazing philisophical prowess that Harold posesses...

Back to your regularly scheduled incoherent babbling.
