my Cybermaxx thread
I rebuilted my cybermaxx. It was an MMM 6s kb45 integy suspended pig.
Now it's an XL 8s neu 1521 1.5y big bore suspended beast!! They are NOT integy shocks. They are traxxas big bores with integy caps, meticulously built by me with clear rtv silicone on all threads for no leakers. http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l..._/IMG_0939.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l..._/DSC00632.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l..._/DSC00631.jpg http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l..._/DSC00633.jpg |

F/C/R 8 spider diffs, 1050kv, 2x4s 4500mah 30c's....
Any questions? |
is it waterproof?!?!? how fast does it go, how much did it cost, how far away can you drive it, is it for stunts, how do you make it go up on the back wheels (all questions asked of me the other day....among many more)
looks good! edit: oh yeah, my favorite one: "is it gas powered?!? It's so fast!" or "why is it so noisy?" |
no, mach1, too much, farther than I can see, yes!, slight application of throttle
thanks!:intello: edit: NO! Not gas powered. LiPoly and brushless!! It is fast. The noise is metal on metal gearing:yes: |
Amazing maxx, I like the rollcage/body implementation.

looks great, my question is can i really save money by switching to guyco?

Sexy! Also, are you going for that "naked" look like BrianG does? The beadlocks w/the Mashers is a nice combo for sure
|
How many XL ESCS do you have? :O
And also, exactly which motor mount is that? I've seen the center diff mount on E-maxxes a couple of times here on RCM, but I haven't seen the mount in the store. Is it the Universal mount or? |

It is the universal mount. I have another universal mount in a savage in the savage forum, you can see it better there. |

Back in the saddle again.
Hey there Harold. Nice to see you back in the saddle again young man. It still looks very nice with the white arms. So how much have you had this thing out since the remodel? Good to see you posting again.
|
I still have a soft spot for the Maxx trucks, and yours is built very nicely indeed. A little insane on the power, but thats not really a bad thing either!
|
I like how the roll cage comes through the body at the back like that.
Harold you're definitely going to need a bash partner when you run this. Otherwise you'll spend more time chasing the truck around to flip it back on it's wheels! |

Why did you use Deans connectors? Won't they be close to their amp limit?
|
:yipi: Nice Maxx. Very similar to my maxx. I bet you will have your hands full with the 1521 and 8s. Mine was just too much with the 1717 and 6s, couldnt keep traction at all... whats your gearing?
|
Very sexy
