That's the "too much rice wine" soldering style. Back off Ming, Ling probably rode his arse all night about something stupid.

I could solder better with my eyes closed...

Brow 05.15.2011 12:50 AM

I would like to see you solder with eyes closed - no crying now when you miss, lol.

If that was a new piece in the picture, it has has some rework done by "Dodgy Bros Inc"

What is it anyway?

What's_nitro? 05.15.2011 12:52 AM

I'd like to see myself do it, too, but that's physically impossible.

Brow 05.15.2011 01:02 AM

How about using a video camera? We would need 3rd party confirmation that you are not peaking though.

Do I hear cheap Chinese quality control?

suicideneil 05.15.2011 08:56 PM

Looks like something I did aged ~12, only worse. I remember those mini-fridges too, we used to sell them at Woolworths when I worked there many moons ago; over priced brightly coloured crap, no wonder Woolies went bust...

No... who's saying it?

Neil: you solder that badly at 12? Oh jeez, I wonder how badly you solder now..

In any ways, I think I can solder better than that...

I only got into r/c aged about 14-15, and they only gave us a few lessons on basic soldering and circuitry at school, everything else is self-taught as such ( explains alot, but I can do bullet connectors really well now :intello: ).

that's exactly what our electronics teacher would call beginner solder joints :mdr:

jas21373 05.19.2011 10:17 AM

So ,what did you pay for this item????

Bondonutz 05.19.2011 01:07 PM

Why would it be illegal to make & sell a item to the general public that has a high probability to fail and be a fire hazard ?

MA does it every day.
