This track is at a local firestation near the NY/NJ border - about 20 mins away from Barnstormers where previous events were held.

The facilities are great, including pit tables, powers, water, compressor, "real" toilets, automated sprinklers and great food all day.

Here is a picture of the track:

Arct1k 08.19.2011 07:57 PM

Swing by mike has multiple of every class

brainanator 08.19.2011 10:02 PM

Wow! Awesome of Castle!!

E-Revonut 08.19.2011 11:35 PM

I'm doing everrything in my power to make it this time, gonna try bringing a friend I got into the hobby in the past year. I gotta play musical servos though and move the servo from my b4 to my sc10, sc10 to sc10 4x4, and sc10 4x4 to RC8T!

Wayne Miele 08.20.2011 05:30 PM

We are planning a whole weekeknd. Camp overnight right behind the track and we have our regular raceday on sunday. Firehouse will stay open all night for bathrooms and pit area access. Big campfire is planned and maybe some adult beverages. Will not want to miss this one. Any info needed give me a shout 845-820-1329.

Wayne Miele 08.20.2011 05:48 PM

Chris, I don't know if you saw my earlier post about track layout. Very similiar to your picture. Jumps and stuff have been moved and the back chute has jumps instead of the pipe obstacles. Pretty good flow for all classes.

E-Revonut 08.21.2011 03:12 AM

Don't see a start time posted. What time does the track open for practice, when do sign ups open and close, and racing is expected to start when? Need to be able to plan what time I leave. Also cost for first class and any additional classes?

Wayne Miele 08.24.2011 09:35 PM

We are at the track by 6:30am. practice will start shortly after that. Sign ups close 10:30 and we start to race at 11:00. If someone has a special need let me know. We are hoping a bunch of people will stay over and race again sunday.

E-Revonut 09.01.2011 09:36 AM

Just want to make sure we are still on for this race. Irene didn't wipe out the track or anything did it?

Wayne Miele 09.01.2011 11:16 AM

We are still on for both days. Track drained really well. Hope everyone is planning a whole weekend event. We all need a break after last weekend and a horrible first date with Irene.

Arct1k 09.01.2011 01:00 PM

Can't thank Castle enough for stepping up again this year with an amazing donation for the raffle of:

2 Mamba Monster Combos
1 Mamba Monster ESC Only
1 1515-2200KV Motor

Take a bow PDC and safe travels!

E-Revonut 09.01.2011 05:19 PM

address is blurry on the flyer when I try blowing it up big enough to read. Can someone post up the address so I can get there Saturday morning

Wayne Miele 09.01.2011 07:36 PM

Address is 384 Stony Ford Rd. Middletown, N.Y. 10941. Keep my number handy in case you hit any roads that are closed I can probably get you here on another route. (8-four-5)-eight-two-zero - one-3-two-9.

RC-Monster Mike 09.01.2011 08:37 PM

Thanks, Wayne. Looking forward to a great race day!

Wayne Miele 09.02.2011 03:00 PM

The weather looks good for both days. We might just get in two days in a row.

Wayne Miele 09.03.2011 09:48 PM

What a great day of racing action today. Tight racing in every class. Decent crowd considering the weather of last week. Glad to see some faces from last year and some new faces too.Hope everyone had as good a time as I did. Looking forward to next year and Ive only been home for 5 minutes. See you all soon.

E-Revonut 09.04.2011 12:09 AM

Electric Dave 09.04.2011 11:04 AM

We had a great time too. I'll tell you, the competition is pretty stiff at these RC Monster bashes - I remember the first few when half the field would DNF. Electric sure has come a long way in just a few years. Truggy was incredible. I'm so glad Electric took down the top 3 spots. Thanks for posting the pix E-Revonut.

_paralyzed_ 09.05.2011 01:05 AM

More pics!!!!

E-Revonut 09.05.2011 06:37 PM

Sorry, that's about all the pics I have. I have others but they're very blurry

PBO 09.05.2011 07:37 PM

Are we able to put names to faces or is that not the done thing?

E-Revonut 09.05.2011 08:06 PM

all will be top to bottom L-R. Post #22

Pic 1 is Monter Mike's truggy in action
Pic 2 Not sure of the guys name but he is pictured in other pics
pic 3 ?,Shayna, Dan, Monster Mike
pic 4 ?, ?(long jump winner), ?, Shayna, Monster Mike
Pic 5 ?, ?, Shayna, Monster Mike
Pic 6 ?,?, Dave Mafucci (electricDave), Shayna, Monster Mike
Pic 7 Monster Mike, ?,?,?, Shayna
Pic 8 Dave Maffuci, ?, ?, Shanya, Joe Troup (me), ?,?,?

If anyone can fill in the blanks, feel free to. I'm horrible with names and didn't pick up many new ones other than Wayne and his daughter Shayna. Wayne did a great job hosting the event at Station2raceway and a great job announcing and Shayna was a great trophy girl and a pretty decent driver as well

RC-Monster Mike 09.06.2011 12:29 PM

Bill Evans is the guy with glasses in all the pictures - he raced and trophied in almost every class!
Patrick Glieman is the long jump winner and 3rd in the buggy A-main - he is a buddy of mine for many years - hell of a guy, great RC mechanic, painter and a damn good driver, too.
The next picture is Bill Evans, and Keith Leonard(half brother of Chris Fine - the good half and fast as hell with an rc car).
The truggy Amain winners are next - all from Pin Shop hobbies in CT - John, Mike and Dave. John goes by "Boomer" but his last name escapes me right now. Mike has a last name that I would butcher the spelling(Lizowski?) and Dave Maffucci is our own electric dave here on the forums.

Glad everyone had a great day of fun for sure. Also, nice to see a woman enjoying our sport as well.

Electric Dave 07.08.2012 05:09 PM

Do you guys have a date for this year's Bash?

+1 to that!

By the way, Electric Dave, I also live in CT, which track do you go to?

Electric Dave 07.09.2012 07:04 AM

My "home" track is Pin Shop Hobbies in Oakville CT. I've also visited RC Hobbies and More in Winsted this year and there a lots of other great tracks in CT. Where do you live?

I live in southern CT so the only somewhat track I have is an asphalt one in Bridgeport. Otherwise I used to go up to RC Hobbies & More also but then the people there got all full of themselves and cocky so now I go to Wolcott Hobby.

Electric Dave 07.10.2012 07:17 AM

Huh, I've only raced there once but I don't really see the RCH&M guys as being cocky...If you want, try Pin Shop, it's a great place too.
