neweuser 09.05.2006 03:01 PM

Kinda looks familiar! LOL, except I run the gmaxx suspension and differnet motor! Nice man, very nice!

captain harlock 11.09.2006 05:32 PM

A great beast.

My reply is pretty late, but your truck definetely deserves a compliment. I dont know why many guys did not comment on this one...some people?!?!

Only a few did, though.

Reminds me of Papa's rig.

Niiiice!!

BitHed 11.09.2006 11:56 PM

...can i wear the noob hat and ask what that weighs in kg? Is there a weight price to pay for that much beauty? lol...Looks freakin' great though...

aqwut 11.10.2006 07:23 AM

looks good dude....

captain harlock 11.10.2006 07:27 AM

He already got it dirty at the RC-Monster Bash I think.

neweuser 11.10.2006 10:04 AM

I don't think he was at the bash, or at least I didn't see him there with it.

captain harlock 11.10.2006 10:38 AM

I'm sure he was. I was not present at the bash, but I saw a few pics of a truck with green colored body which has the same features as this dude.

neweuser 11.10.2006 10:46 AM

I was there. Walter, Mike and I were the only ones that had gorilla maxx that I am aware of.
I think the green colored body was sjcrss's truck.

captain harlock 11.10.2006 11:24 AM

Yeah, I checked the thread which have pics from the bash and I figuered that I'm absolutely wrong.

Sooooooorrryyyyyy....:(

Guerilla 11.12.2006 01:51 PM

Planning on a 24hrs endurance race or something?...:)

Serum 11.12.2006 02:32 PM

Nice clean and sexy!

is that the Jety 4 channel receiver on the upper pic? and what antenna mount is that on the lower one? i've seen it before, but i don't have got the link anymore.. Thought it was put down as a lightweight antenna mount.

Using the AE cups on the CF maxx? (looking at the distance of the holes you made with the screws thru)

aqwut 11.12.2006 02:45 PM

she looks good... . still looks sparkly clean...

captain harlock 11.12.2006 02:51 PM

Serum 11.12.2006 04:00 PM

Ah, that tiny one..
I found that antenna holder..

http://www.kfactoryracing.com/production.jsp?id=K7002

Guerilla 11.12.2006 04:40 PM

Its a Kfactory superflexible antenna and mount. i have a one on my rc18t to.

http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/uploads/...185_587858.jpg

Yes im using the battery cups serum, they work well, but were quite hard to find.

Also thats a spektrum MICRO receiver. Its a very smart little bit of kit.

Serum you may be interested in my next truck. Im building an alloy / carbon twin lehner 1020/13 powerd mini lst. 2 Quark 33 pros. 2 Flightpowers. Im going to have all the alloy parts reanodised bright orange.

Serum 11.12.2006 05:02 PM

Yeah i found that holder.. :p

I think you might like my current project too..

Serum 11.18.2006 10:14 AM

You need to use a ring between the ue shocks and the nut. this way the nut will eat it's way thru..
