My reply is pretty late, but your truck definetely deserves a compliment. I dont know why many guys did not comment on this one...some people?!?! Only a few did, though. Reminds me of Papa's rig. Niiiice!! |
...can i wear the noob hat and ask what that weighs in kg? Is there a weight price to pay for that much beauty? lol...Looks freakin' great though...

Awesome truck!
How many winds is the 1950? |
Hi,
it's very very very near the one of mine :) http://chroot.penguin.it/gallery2/ma...g2_itemId=1373 Why don't you get the FLM half case transmission :) ? Very great I like it a lot :D Ciao, Daniele |
looks good dude....
|
He already got it dirty at the RC-Monster Bash I think.
|
I don't think he was at the bash, or at least I didn't see him there with it.
|
I'm sure he was. I was not present at the bash, but I saw a few pics of a truck with green colored body which has the same features as this dude.
|
I was there. Walter, Mike and I were the only ones that had gorilla maxx that I am aware of.
I think the green colored body was sjcrss's truck. |
Yeah, I checked the thread which have pics from the bash and I figuered that I'm absolutely wrong.
Sooooooorrryyyyyy....:( |
Nah i wasnt at the RC-Monster Bashing, its rather a long trip from the UK. The motor was a 1950/8 on 2 6's 5,000 flightpowers, Used to provide 10,000.
My MGM and 1950 as fitted to the above maxx http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/uploads/...185_539689.jpg Heres one of my other maxx's http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/uploads/...185_374219.jpg http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/uploads/...185_121287.jpg Edit, Sorrys for such large pics |

|
6s2p, eh?
Planning on a 24hrs endurance race or something?...:) |
Nice clean and sexy!
is that the Jety 4 channel receiver on the upper pic? and what antenna mount is that on the lower one? i've seen it before, but i don't have got the link anymore.. Thought it was put down as a lightweight antenna mount. Using the AE cups on the CF maxx? (looking at the distance of the holes you made with the screws thru) |
she looks good... . still looks sparkly clean...
|
Probably he's a clean lover like me!
|
I must admit, i like my rides clean as well.. Something to get over...
|

Serum, I think thats the new Spektrum Pro receiver...
|
Ah, that tiny one..
I found that antenna holder.. http://www.kfactoryracing.com/production.jsp?id=K7002 |
Its a Kfactory superflexible antenna and mount. i have a one on my rc18t to.
http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/uploads/...185_587858.jpg Yes im using the battery cups serum, they work well, but were quite hard to find. Also thats a spektrum MICRO receiver. Its a very smart little bit of kit. Serum you may be interested in my next truck. Im building an alloy / carbon twin lehner 1020/13 powerd mini lst. 2 Quark 33 pros. 2 Flightpowers. Im going to have all the alloy parts reanodised bright orange. |
Yeah i found that holder.. :p
I think you might like my current project too.. |
You need to use a ring between the ue shocks and the nut. this way the nut will eat it's way thru..
