RAcer X Set backs
Are these for the front and rear? or just the rear? Thanks! http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...etbackx&cat=47
they are for the rear only......but to use them you need the following
racer x upper arms racer x knuckles racerx link as well... if you email me newe.....i can give ya a complete list of the stuff... |
You already sent me the list! LOL, but i was checking on these cuz i wasn't sure. Thanks man! Way cool. I bent an arm yesterday, noticed it when i cleaned her up....
I know i did...thought you might have forgot.....I might be able to help you out....drop me a email......but on another note....the racerx is nice...you will love it...
I've got a brand new racer-x, i am too affraid to drive it. I got a set of the flexteks to use now, instead of being shiney on my shelve...
So you're not using the racer x set backs? Wanna let'em go?
No, i think it's more interesting to sell the entire set.
that's what i mean.....the whole set, front and rear. But you don't wanna let'em go???
setbacks are 2 rear arms only, not front and back, I have got an entire racer-X set with setback arms i wanted to drop at once.
normal arms are in the front , while the setbacks are only in the rear...
yup, got it! How much would you get rid of them for Serum? Just curious?????
How you like the flextech rene?
Don't you have the g maxx arms troy? |
I do, but bent one last night....i made it thru the bash jsut great, took some hard spills with no damage...but i was coming across the field last night and must have hit something, tumbled about 10 feet! Got her home, cleaned her up, and found a small bend in the front one....first time, but, makes me a little nervous now...i don't like breaking chit on my baby if you know what i mean!
I, too, am afraid of running my truck with the RacerX and setbackers carrying up my truck.
Its so shiny and neat you dont really want to scratch it. Probably the sheer shininess is what made Papa sell his SuperGorillaMaxx. Man, do I really have to get the VBS and just stare at it? |
come on guys....did you build them to be a shelf queen or did you build them to run.....let me ask you this.....when you buy a new car....do you just leave it in the driveway, cause you are afraid to get it dirty or that you might end up in accident, hopefully not because you bought it to use it.....I once wrecked my new 2003 nean 3 times in a 1 year period.... deer #1....and yes that made me sick, but they fixed it, 6 months later deer #2........got that fixed...then less than 24 hrs later some Jerk runs me off the road during a snowstorm....and hit a 6" curb, tearing up my front lower control arm....that one made me madd, but they fixed it to.....I've had my emaxx for a long time just like you guys, and i have broke or bent stuff, but it can be fixed or replaced, that is just my thoughts.....it's only a truck and a hobby......I mean i really messed up my truck at the bash...just ask newe....and i found out my motor was toasted as well....did i get mad....no....cause it happens....I'm rebuilding it again...into a more effecient racer...sorry about the long post and rant....but that is my point of view...
I agree to some extant. Those parts are a lot of money though. But i do build it to run it, and run it hard when i can
but there is an extent to this. i don't want to break something everytime i go out to run, especially when i put 3000.00 in my truck! anywho, shelf queens are nice, but i LOVE to run!!!!!!!!!! |
i know what you mean..... especially about the parts...and yes they cost some $...but i enjoy running my truck as well.....it was built to be run and not be a shelf queen...
Mine is both, but i have hard time kepeing it clean! LOL :)
You guys are absolutely right.
However...... ITS SOOO DAAAAAMMMMMN PRETTTTYYY. Oh well, I do have to run it once I get my lipos, balancers and charger. |
Oh yeah! But as i've have always said, they are sexier with mudd on them!
I'm sinking tons of money into my truck, so I can run it hard without a problem!
Dont wanna scratch my vbs skids when they get here, but hey, use it, abuse it! |
exactly my point....
Yup. Not scratching the skids, that's a good one! At least not when you put them on! But after running!
The aluminum will be scratched. I rather see plastic scratched than aluminum, something no one can talk me out of my head..
It's always better to scratch plastic as they are cheaper to replace. Would never talk you out of that!
