Serum 10.21.2006 10:46 AM

Did you tried your eagletree to see how many current it takes?

And was the motor hot when it happened?

Yes Rene this is the amp draw graph...
Seems ok

Serum 10.21.2006 10:51 AM

Was the motor hot?

virusss 10.21.2006 10:52 AM

The temperature of the motor is 68 c°
The esc 55C°

Serum 10.21.2006 10:56 AM

That't not too hot.

This is odd..

I am downloading the movie to check it out.

Serum 10.21.2006 10:58 AM

Hang on..

Try another channel on your receiver. Might be dead.. Happened to me too..

virusss 10.21.2006 10:59 AM

The receiver is ok , itry the receiver with onother esc and works ok...

Serum 10.21.2006 11:02 AM

Did you used an UBEC with the speedcontroller?

Just saw the movie.

virusss 10.21.2006 11:06 AM

no i use internal bec

Serum 10.21.2006 11:20 AM

I would personally use a seperate UBEC with it. have you got one you can test it with? the only option i can think of at this moment is that the BEC is dead.

But the servo steering works ok...
Rene' look the lipo volts...too low for me

Serum 10.21.2006 11:28 AM

NOt good!!!!

virusss 10.21.2006 11:34 AM

In effect the pack it seems swollen...

Serum 10.21.2006 11:37 AM

Thats very bad, i would contact flightpower, sounds like a bad cell to me.

virusss 10.21.2006 11:39 AM

nevertheless I had set up the cut-ff of the quark to 3.0 volts

Serum 10.21.2006 11:52 AM

???

how come it didn't cut off?

jhautz 10.21.2006 11:58 AM

Are you sure you had it set to the correct battery type? If you have it set to NiMH the Quark still lets you set a lipo cut off voltage and you might think you have it set to Lipo.

virusss 10.21.2006 11:59 AM

I dont know, but controller broke+battery failure....
AAAAAARRRRRGHHHHH!!!!!!

virusss 10.21.2006 12:13 PM

I set cut-off 3 volts per cells...

Serum 10.21.2006 12:15 PM

Crap.. Something went very bad on this..

virusss 10.21.2006 12:22 PM

:035: :035: :035: :035: :035: :035: :035: :035: :035:

captain harlock 10.21.2006 12:23 PM

I'm really sorry to hear this, man!
Dont you have another lipo pack to use with another controller?

Serum 10.21.2006 12:26 PM

Those lipo's didn't do what they should do in the first place. They should never drop that far in voltage on a 120A peak load. and the controller should have used it's cut-off on 12V.. I really don't get this..

is the entire pack swollen or is it 1 cell?

virusss 10.21.2006 12:28 PM

The pack at full charge is 16 volts, and very little swollen creed is not damaged seriously

Serum 10.21.2006 12:30 PM

Though it should NEVER drop that far.. those cells are not good. I would contact flightpower about it. They should stay above 3V per cell on a 50C load..

virusss 10.21.2006 12:32 PM

Yes rigt

virusss 10.21.2006 12:40 PM

For the quark Rene, What tasks that it has succeeded??

Serum 10.21.2006 12:41 PM

The quark failed with the cut-off?

virusss 10.21.2006 12:42 PM

The quark not work...
Not sound for motor, motor not spin, the led is ok, and the steering servo with internal bec is ok
