Question About weight.
How much does a a 9xl, the rcmonster heat sink/clamp and a quark monster pro weigh?
Also if you were shipping the above items would you ship them in a box or in an envelope? |
I don't think they weigh to much, but everything that i have received from Mike has allways arrived in a priority box....from the post office...
You wouldn't want them shipped in an envelope! Trust me!
A box.
Quark weights around 120 gramms, motor about 400 and the heatsink around 70. |
I knew you'd have the answer!
I can do some exact measurements if you want, but i think the guess is quite close..
thats what I thought.. well not what I thought what i knew, i bought the items about and all i recieved in the mail was an empty priority mail envelope with the seem busted.
IF you have the time, I would like that. I'm building a weight database for RC parts, particularly T-Maxx/E-Maxx/Revo oriented but will start including many other models as well. Since my Super-Emaxx is apart I'll be weighing all my supermaxx parts individually. Whatever info you care to send my way I'll include in my list and perhaps we can post it in a "reference section" here on RCM.

Crap!! that sucks !!
Does Mike knows? |
Did you signed for the empty bag??
Was it insured?
It wasn't from Mike, and not insured, which was stupid of me. To me it seems to save on shipping cost the shipper shoved it all in a flat rate envelope and sent it. And the envelope gave out in transit, That why i wanted to know the weight To me these things should never been shipped that way, and I am trying to get all the facts I can.
I did not sign for it, the post office contacted me and told me they had the package and the contents were lost. So I filed a lost Items claim and the post office is looking for the Items.. But I doubt they will find them. |
perhaps they are laying with my 5S 2X 3S lipo packs and the savage i lost..
ARRRHHH |
Ouch....both painful losses.
Its a real lesson learned, I guess I just take for granted, after working for company that packages things for shipping, that people would know when to use boxes and when not to. i can tell you From now on I going to request everything be shiped in boxes, and taped up. Time to start saving for another power plant for my E-revo.
Was it paid by CC?
Yes it was. I filed a complaint with paypal i doubt that will turn out in my favor.
Paypal covers "non-Delivered" packages if I'm not mistaken.
Check with your Credit card. They may have some sort of purchase insurance also. I actually got saved by that once.. Not for that much $$$, but $175.
Im going to check as soon as my next statement comes.. I did not recieve the items so im going to dispute the transaction, and let the cc compay take it up with the seller and paypal, hopefully this will get my money back..
Some postal person may have a brushless system now.
That sucks though. |
A good thing to do is use signature confermation so you can see who got for the package.
