Awesome Newe!
Pretty outrageous! I LIKE IT!
thanks man, i'll get some more on there when i get the pics loaded up. still need the pics with the tires and stuff, kinda wanted to wait for the body to be done. I'm looking at candy blue and burgandy accents, hoping it'll turn out nice. Glad you like serum, pro c....:)
The last one looks like the wheel base is shorter. :D
SA! LMAO, it would be!!!! I thought maybe a short version of a maxx would be a good piece of art and a good project!
I want one so bad. :(
You'll get there! thanks
Nice Doc, from Cars the movie in the background, is that your next Bl project..... also, nice truck man, its coming along nicely....
Man where are the batteries at. Are you going to leave the maxx without the battery tray or is it just of in that picture. If so i am sorry for the comment because i am new to this concept of having no battery tray.
Newe, has slowly switched over from his carbon fibre setup, to the aluminum setup, if I remember from the last time I talked to him, all he has left to pick up is his gmaxx lower aluminum battery plate.....then he is all set to go.....
o so he still has to buy the bottem plate
yes, that is correct, that is all he has left to get I believe.....
This thing looks AMAZING! Pretty similar to mine.
Nice work, Troy. |
is that an emaxx without the tranny that i see?
The traxxas tranny is replaced with the more effecient RC-Monster V1 G2 Slipperential system. It's a combination of a centerdiff with a top shaft and a slipper unit. Wheelies are supposed to be dramatically decreased and handling is going to be as good as a race proven truggy.
how much does this item cost and where can i get one?
The store right here has them. I not sure if in stock or not.
RCMM has out done himself! very nice newuser!
Looks great newe!
Go and put it on a scale, i wonder how much it will weight?! |
i bet its under 10 lbs.

I have ran mine quite a few times allready, and I love it....Also at the Bash, Mike was testing his, and i saw it run flawlessly, and he also ran away from the nitro's.....and won with ease
man i would pay to see mikes truck in person or atleast watch the race. Yea mike realy puts his custimers first in line.
If you put neweuser's truck next to Mike's, you would actually say they're identical with a few differences.

Sounds like a George Bush Comment! :005: |
Huh?!!
What's so funny about it?..:) |
Identical but with a few differences...would make them Not-Identical. See?
Sorry, it's a Monday and I guess I'm easily amused............not much to laugh about today unfortunately. |
Oops, you're absolutely right.
You startled me with the George Bush thingy. I thought I'm talking like a world leader or something...hehe! |

I also wanted to add a THANKS to all the nice comments to uncompleted version! LOL, I'll get some updates on tonight, thanks guys! |
Strange!
He's using double shocks in each arm, but make note that the Nova shock towers he's using are far lighter than the knuckleheads. Also, the towerless VBS he's using are supposed to be 50 grams lighter than any other bulkhead or bulkless available. I have both the towerless VBS and the Hybrids and the difference in weight is quite obvious. |

Oh, my body is not silver either! Nor is it yellow! LOL :005: Mike just had a killer set up, it was so durable. I have some new pics to put on this evening of the tires and the completion... |
You, Shayne and I might steal the lights this year with our trucks( mine is gonna be very similar to yours, Nelson).

Yeah! That would be wonderful. Probably I can make a trip to America and meet up with you guys. That wont happen anytime soon, though.
My truck is mostly finished. I only need to spray and decorate the body. Solder and prepare my setup. Get some parts from Mike and pictures will be posted soon after. |
