Powerstroke shocks

I have seen many people looking for these shocks, and I think I found a place to buy them new instead of only on ebay. I was just looking around the web and came across them.

You would need 4 of each shock, and that's ALOT of $$$ for shocks IMO, plus you can get them cheaper HERE and HERE
but it is still alot of money...

Bye:018:

jnev 01.30.2007 09:28 PM

Oops, :013: Didn't know they still had them on tower hobbies. Sorry. :007:

Sylvester 01.30.2007 09:35 PM

They are good shocks, but pricey. Imo if i were to build a maxx, UE's would be my choice.

coolhandcountry 01.30.2007 10:42 PM

I used the bypass with a set of ofna front buggy shocks. They worked out
great.

jollyjumper 01.31.2007 12:34 PM

any one know if the seal sets are still being made?

Serum 02.01.2007 07:21 AM

Shoot proline an email.

jollyjumper 02.01.2007 07:26 AM

could do that.
i'll ask my shop first.
thank for the idea!
mmmmmm powerstroke's:004:

adrictan 01.02.2010 01:45 AM

Well these shocks fit for 1/8 truggy/buggy?

coolhandcountry 01.02.2010 09:56 PM

They are same length as some front buggy shocks.
Shorter then the rear ones.

adrictan 01.02.2010 10:27 PM

Noted. Thanks.

coolhandcountry 01.03.2010 09:14 AM

Just as a side note that they may not match all buggy shocks.
I think it was an ofna buggy I compared them to years ago.
I still have the bypass shocks sitting around if you need a measurement.

re: powerstroke

You know I love my powerstroke but once I put a programmer on this stallion it just got insane.

We dyno'd my brothers Powerstroke in Diesel Power Magazine and made 340rwhp and 711rw ftlbs

I like diesels, too, but you guys realize the thread was about a completely different type of "powerstroke" right?

It's also not about '04 1/2 24valve cummins, so i wont embarrras powerstrokes with my dyno #'s:lol:

Funny thing is, an electric motor of equal horsepower would trump any diesel engine's torque figure.

But draw soo much amperage that the battery system would weigh too much to make the vehicle go anywhere slow

I was a deisel tech for 5years selling performance products. My last cummins build dyno'd 640rwhp and 1213ftlbs and runs 11.72 1/4mi et's. It is capable of 750rwhp but the owner decided not to do the dual CP3 kit and stuck with 90hp injectors instead of 200 with dual cp3's :surprised:

Aint gonna happen. If you wanted to keep it as a daily driver, that is. If you gutted it and replaced the powertrain with equal weight of electric power it would blow the pants off of at least any other truck.

Thats my point. Dont get me wrong I am all about BL elec. but in a 1:1 truck it would be hard to have anything but heat because of all the weight. That Cummins will lights up all 4 @ 40mph and in 2wd will light them up @70mph
