have my elec stuff yet as my speedo i wanted is now gone, and everything else is cummin from tower..... i will post pics tomarow, lol im tired now its SOOOOO SICK!!!!!! build was simple, took my time and made shure i did it rite and had fun! lol 490 bucks with tax, i got my discount, and now its waiting to be used:004: :004: :004: :004: :004: :004: :004: :004: :004: |
sounds very cool. Now, I think you can guess what we are all going to say....

|

|
yup lol, just 13 year olds cant drive, and dont walk 2 miles to the closes gas station hehe
|
Sounds cool.
|
|
there she is!
sorry for junk pics, my cam was dead and want workin rite lol, but u get to see it anyways |
That looks awesome. I see you have TC4 RTR wheels and tires on it lol...
Also, why didn't you wait for the TC5? |
yeh, i have had those a LONG TIME! only ones i could find rite now so i threw them on.. im running dish rims and slicks on the track
and i hate associated, imo there no good, they just drive like crap compared to other cars, well most, there pan cars, and 18 series is good, he rest is just kinda over priced for the same thing as others AND the cyclone is the best on road car, its not on carpet, but im ot running carpet, but theres stiffer chassis to fix that prob, i cant say as i havent driven one on carpet but i have drove a tc4, xray t2 07, losi jrxs, and jrxs r now, losi xxx s sport, some yokomo car, and a tamiya car lol idk the names but out of those the cyclone is kicking the most ass, and it drove the best for me, so i got one.... i dont like the tc5 and i debut it will be any good to be 100% honest, it wont get far like the cyclone is |
A short 2 mile walk will do you good! :)
Edit That's better! :) |

Hi, Sweet ride. you'll be very happy with it. they work very well on every surface they are raced on. I mostly race sedans on carpet with foams. the cyclones work very well there. most guys who race on carpet buy the B.M.I. chassis kit for the Cyclone. hope you have fun racing it. one thing tho, buy some XRay steering knuckles to replace yours. they last alot longer...... I know. Thanks |

can i get a part number? for those knuckles???? and yeh im shure it does, out side this thing is insane on un prepped rough tar, yes lol i drove it on tar with 4.5 mm up front, and 5 in the back lol its LOW! and what drive shafts do u use? and pics of urs? i need to update mine, its all raced out with the body wheels and tires electronics etc |
If you need a tough steering knuckles and steering blocks, get the X-Ray T2( as Tim advised) ones, the aluminum ones. You'll need to do some mods to the front arms if so. The X-Ray's parts are made of super durable 7075 T6 aluminum. They're a bit pricy, though.
www.speedtechrc.com has them. |
well im going to run whats here first and see
|
yeah its a nice cyclone!
|
MAN! need new pics! those rims make it looks retarded.... hrmmmm, i say within 2 days new pics =) lol im working on it still
but thats for the compliments |
E MAXX Rocks:
Hi, we usually run the plastis ones. the part # is 30 2252 you'll need two. I have a fleet of sedans, 2 TA-05's, 2 007's, a EVO V I'm making into a foam car. a TL-01 for the Johnson class. a TC3. I also have a Cyclone/B.M.I. that is out on loan right now. 3 1/12th scale cars. I have E Maxx that needs a Rx and a speedo/motors. 2 T4's 2 B4's and other off road things. two nitro sedans. that I can't race......too noisey :( and I'm sure I'm missing a few too!!!!!!! Thanks |
yeh i have alot of cars also lol,, not doubles except 2 micro ts lol
but thanks!!! i will try that if i break them |
E MAXX Rocks:
Hi, I have doubles mostly be cause my son races also. but he is WAY better than me (must have something to do with all those video games he plays). the EVO V is going to be a 27t/19t car if it works out then I'll get another one and refine my mods to it for carpet while working on this one. I just bought another Cyclone. this time a Moorespeed version.....I like blue better than Purple. I had the last one re anoed black. it was a Hara L.E. the steering knuckles from HPI/H.B. are somewhat brittle. sometimes the lightest brush or tap and they will break. after breaking a few I went to the XRay steering knuckles and have'nt broke one since. you can findd the XRay steering knuckles for around 5 bucks if you look around too. Thanks |

naw!!!! purple all the way! lol, i am just amaised how simple this car is! its just amasing! but are the knuckles a diect fit on the car? bering fit right in? and no extra binding or anything? and for u, get some version 2 spindles, steel shafts and the re build kit.... there SOOOO MUCH BETTER! there cvds built in reverse, the spindle has the cup and the shaft goes into the spindle! so they wont bind in the cup as simple so u get more steering:018: |
E MAXX Rocks:
Hi, they are a pretty much a swap in deal. I only have had to lightly sand one knuckle. but I think it might have been the "C" hub more than the knuckle itself. I got the new "CVD's" on the Moorespeed" I'll be odering the same for mine soon. the Moorespeed is for my son as he's the better driver. I just wrench and tune, then drive. Thanks |
Quote:
no u didnt, u got the old cvds, there newer, but there not the newest version 2's. the revised them even more:019: but this time there a million times better, so get those just for the front, so about 34 bucks for the swap, but these ones wont ever ware out the way there built:018: here's the new ones, but those are al, so dont buy that kit, but u can see what they look like http://www.hbeurope.com/piw.php?partNo=61403&lang=en and the steel shafts http://www.hbeurope.com/piw.php?partNo=61398&lang=en and then the rebuild kit, theres a few ppl that sell them, i havent found them yet in a lhs, but heres the numbers Part #: HP75188 Hot Bodies Universal Rebuild kit - 1 set |
and cool man! i will have to look at thos next time im at the track =)
|
http://www.titaniumracing.com/produc...asp?menuid=204
these guys have good cvds, also diff outdrives and pinions. and spools, excellent product:004: there screws rather blow.:mad:1 |
E MAXXX Rocks:
Hi, I'm running the Tamiya verison of those on my son's car. I used the TB04 TRF versions as they are long enough to work without binding. the older style CVD's are what I run. just like the TC3's/TC4's have. I'll oder a couple of sets of those for my son's car on Monday. thanks for the Tip!!!!!!!!! JollyJumper: Hi, I run TiR pinions on all of my sedans. I have two complete sets and almost a third. for some reason TiR products have been really hard to get over here in the USA lately. I ordered the input shhafts for a TC3 I was building for a friend and never got them. (to bad as they are a nice piece). hopefully things will get better soon over here. Thanks |
yeh i know about tir, the ti cvds are very spendy imo... but they are very strong, but for the price im going to use te version 2 ones, the stock ones suck imo, there very simple to break with a spool up front, and a crash or 2... and the version 2 ones dont bind like the first ones when u turn to far, they still will after a certain oint but u can go alot farther =)
np man, another thing id recomend is a p dub bumper, i dont have one but there bigger (wider) so they save u more damage, by a ffew pro racers.. but i havent found one |
E MAXX Rocks:
Hi, Yeah the P Dub bumper rocks. so does the Parma one. and if you can find it the RubberNeck Racing stuf is the best. Kevin makes the best bumpers and inserts out there. Thanks |
yeh, and i will have to cheack those out, or get a big one and shvae it... idk
