Anybody going to iHobby in Chicago?
 

I'm thinking of going to iHobby.. Any brushless buddies gonna be there?.. :)
I'm about 4 hours away from Chicago... Me live across the river from Detroit, MI.

i'll be there on one of the days, not sure which.

Wish I could, but it's not in the cards this time. By this time next year (hopefully in time for the bash), all the dust will have settled and I'll be FREEEE!

It's really not so bad. She and I are still amiable, it's just 10 years down the tubes. Oh well. Looking forward to the bachelor life again. :smile:

Trust me... I been there. Its better to just move on from the situation that isnt working. Its gets MUCH better on the other side. Its a PITA to get through, but once its done!! :party: Its all worth it.

I will be at the show (no booth, but I will be hangin' with Jamie from FastLane Machine at Maxamps booth and perhaps Castle Creations booth - I hope to have a truck at each booth).
I am flying out Thursday afternoon - Hoping to get some play time while I am there (Jeff, I know your up for this again). I will be sporting an RC-Monster t-shirt if anyone sees me and wants to say hello at the show. Hoping to do some bashing after the show each night. :)

Yea Mike I'm up for it as usual. If your comming and going to be here on Friday night bring something to oval race. We have had a regular Friday night gathering all summer. Dom and Jim are there regularly as well. (Actually, Dom is kind of the ring leader out there with the mobil RC labratory.:intello:) Its come a long way since you were out there last time. Anywhere from 10-30 people show up on a given Friday depending on the weather. Even a transponder system setup for tracking lap times.

If you arent around for that I'm sure there will be plenty of other chances to run.

Are you going to the the show Saturday, Sunday, or both?

Not really sure yet. Kinda depends on how the weekend shakes out. Its not likely that I'll go both days. Last year I was there for 5-6 hours and that was plenty to see what I wanted to see. No need for more than that unless something really blows my mind.

Most likely I'll go on Saturday, Sunday is a regular bash day for me so if I go Saturday I can still play Sunday.

Looks like I will be there on Saturday. If anyone else will be LMK we can hook up there.

Be sure to take lots of pictures for those who aren't going.

I'll be there on Saturday too with my 4 year old son. I'll probably head over to the Maxamps booth and say hi to those guys. I'm hoping to say hi to the monster himself if he'a around. I have been on here a while and it would be nice to put a face with a name. I'll defenitly be checking out the new Traxxas vehicle.

Looks like I'm going on Sunday so my 4 year old can come with. He has "mom's day" at his school on Saturday morning and was upset that he'd miss the hobby show so we're going Sunday instead.

Well i just got back a few hours ago and i must say i am supprised at how many converted brushless vehicles i saw. Novak had a brushless Kyosho buggy, A123 had a nice converted 8ight buggy and there is more i just cannot think of them because i am so tired. But it was a very cool show, almost overwhelming at how big this event is.

so retarded.. I had a wedding.. this weekend. I couldn't go.. I completely forgot about it.... I wanted to go so bad... maybe next year... Did any of you guys see my buddies there..

Did anyone who was out at the show see this Kyosho buggy at the Novak booth. It had some kind of slipper system in it where the center diff should be. I would like to duplicate this but am unsure how. Anyone have any ideas or know what would be needed to make this?

This car looks pretty nice. I prefer to keep the batts inboard, but this looks pretty solid and I'm sure it handles fine on the track. Also this layout would work great with a couple of hardcase packs like the gold trackpowers.

I would like to try a center slipper...wonder how it drives?

Horrible...I had one in my JT T-Maxx truggy and HATED it. I sold the roller, wish I hadn't, and bought a LSP-R. Thats a Dominator center slipper I do believe. Same as the JT.

Is it true that Mike has a slipper built into the center diff in the works... I beleive I remember seeing a picture of it on here some where.
