I want one

I want one of these. I would even sell both my BL x1-cr & crt to get one.

coolhandcountry 11.05.2007 06:34 PM

I have been eyeing one of them myself.
I would have tough decision to convert or run.

i hear you leroy . I would definetly run it gas. besides it would cost at least a $1.500 or more for the electronics to convert it right .

BrianG 11.05.2007 06:39 PM

Would be a pretty penny to get the parts to convert that thing! A large motor, HV ESC, and at least 8s.

He means to meet me to deliver it to me. We did that last time I traded him for his E-Revo. We met halfway between where each of us lives. Luckily, it's only about 50 miles for each of us though.

rschoi_75 11.05.2007 08:34 PM

Dang man... you could get a real car for that price... but then again ... I could've bought a real car with the cost of my revo and x-1 cr put together....

Check this out guys... this is what I want for christmas. I've always wanted a bad ass rally truck.

BrianG 11.05.2007 08:38 PM

That does look like a mean truck! I especially like the body since it's different than anything I've seen.

i had one they are a novelty item. its really cool for about 2 days. then you realize your driving around a 25 lb missile with zero ability to stop. the brake disk conversion is almost mandatory and until they make a 4wd version in a baja truck or something I wouldn't suggest spending that kinda bank.

rchippie 11.06.2007 10:51 AM

Nice car. I like them because they look so cool. But the more i think about it i really dont have anywere besides openfeilds to run it. which im sure would get boring rather quick, plus they are exspensive .

It runs on gas, not nitro  still not BL...

rschoi_75 11.06.2007 02:09 PM

BL_RVO was referring to the 1/8th rally truck I linked. Its nitro.

If I got it, it wouldn't stay nitro for very long...

I was talking to some one about this as a conversion.
Estimated weight of the buggy when done was alot lighter then I expected.
I think 6s lipo would push it very easily.

Are you sure the one i saw at FD was using 10s ?.

MTBikerTim 11.06.2007 10:19 PM

I'd have to agree with no mods. They are too uncontrollable being rear wheel drive. Something 4wd would be sweet.

gtxracer 11.07.2007 12:20 AM

You're not the only one thinking of doing it. I was thinking about selling my Revo and saving for a while just to get one. They're so damn cool!!!

rchippie 11.07.2007 08:54 PM

I was looking at the specs on these. the ss version comes with a 26cc motor & tuned pipe, & upgrades. while the rtr version only comes with a 23 & a stock pipe.

drkros3 11.07.2007 09:43 PM

yah the ss one would the be the one to go with. just got to through in your own radio and servos and your good to go.

Acctually the ss comes with a steering servo. So all i would need is a throttle servo , reciver & radio. I all ready have the radio & reciver & throttle servo. It uses a standered servo for the throttle.
