Rcwaffle Beware Fraud!!!!

Just some general info. I sold my maxx on e-bay to rcwaffle. He reported me to paypal saying ESC, Motor, and batts are junk and wants a refund. So I do some research. All of my truck is on e-bay for sale and in excellent condition!!! He is a fraud please boycot him. Paypal says they are going to refund him the money once he gives them a tracking#. I also tested all the equipment before I decided to sell it and it all worked. I'm angry I needed to vent.

squeeforever 11.16.2007 05:29 PM

I've never had a problem with him, I even sold one of my trucks to him and forgot to include the Bypass shocks that weren't on it and he didn't say a thing (forgot about it until WAY later). Rcwaffle has something like 10,000+ feedback, so maybe theres just a misunderstanding or something on his part? I dunno, but maybe its because he thinks he can stick it to you since your in Germany?

Getter Robo 11.16.2007 05:31 PM

That guy just buys complete trucks and resells them in parts. Guess his biz isn't running that well and he wanted to make money off of you by pretending that your stuff is crap...

sapper_triple6 11.16.2007 05:36 PM

I have bought from him many times and never once had a problem. He never even tried to contact me about this. Just went straight to a paypal dispute. Very shady that hes selling an esc in excellent condition that he reported me as giving to him broken.

squeeforever 11.16.2007 05:41 PM

What ESC? I didn't see any BL stuff. Or is it an EVX?

sapper_triple6 11.16.2007 05:42 PM

its a 9920 with ubec and 8xl with RCM heatsink on it.

sapper_triple6 11.16.2007 05:43 PM

heres the item# 330187511247

sapper_triple6 11.16.2007 05:47 PM

squeeforever 11.16.2007 05:52 PM

Indeed it does. I must have overlooked it cause I didn't see it...I didn't see that chassis either.

Serum 11.16.2007 05:56 PM

I'll send him a message about it.

gtxracer 11.16.2007 07:19 PM

I sent him a message about the BL system the other day. Haven't gotten an email back from him. Give me a link to your auction...

EDIT: Is this it? http://cgi.ebay.com/FULLY-MODDED-BRU...QQcmdZViewItem

I think you got him -

Hell, he even put, "If something isnt how I describe it, I will find a way to make it right." You don't get much better than that...

gtxracer 11.16.2007 07:56 PM

That's what bugs me about this situation. I had something similar happen to me about a month ago. I sold my RC10GT on eBay and the guy I sold it to was mad that I hadn't shipped it after 5 days. I explained to him that my girlfriend was in the hospital with appedicitis and it could possibly be life or death and could need surgery at any time. He didn't care about that, he gave me hell for not shipping it and then decided to ask paypal for a refund. Lucky for me, paypal asked for a tracking number and they would drop the charges. I knew I could wait it out but I just didn't want to deal with a jerk like that anymore, so I just shipped it. It hadn't even been a week and he was practically twisting my arm to get me to leave my girlfriend.

Good luck with the deal.

sapper_triple6 11.16.2007 08:07 PM

we'll see what happens. I called paypal and told them whats going on. They said he has 10 days to give them a tracking number saying he shipped the truck back to me before they will issue a refund. If he doesnt, the dispute gets dropped. He obviously cant ship it back since its in parts being sold. If he does try to send me some junk I'll have it all documented with pics and then I can get him banned from paypal, ebay, and he will be in trouble with the law.

sikeston34m 11.16.2007 08:43 PM

He's got it all on there! Even the Batteries. Sheesh!

That's good. Paypal has you protected. good luck with it!

sikeston34m 11.16.2007 08:50 PM

It's too bad you already left him feedback.

I remember watching this auction until it ended.

To be honest, they don't really have you that protected...He could send a rock to him and as long as he gets something in the mail, tracking number, etc. and the mailman doesn't see him open it, Paypal is on the side of the person who sent the rock. All Paypal and Ebay care about is that something was sent. Not really what was sent...

sapper_triple6 11.16.2007 09:54 PM

The good thing is I have a P.O. box so I have to go pick the package up. I can have someone from the mailroom watch me open it. I also plan on taking video of it too. I'm trying to cover every possibility. In the meantime I will continue to post about him on every forum I can think of.

ib4200 11.16.2007 10:24 PM

thats messed up i hope he gets caught

ClodMaxx 11.17.2007 12:24 AM

good to know. i had 2 auctions i was watching of his for big bore shock sets, for my new emaxx (when it arrives). i took 'em off my watched list.

i'm officially banning him, for good. :great:

johnrobholmes 11.17.2007 01:34 AM

Asked him some questions about it, we will see if he responds.

bensf 11.17.2007 03:12 AM

 I was bidding on some parts of your truck.... I'm not winning any of them and won't be bidding anymore.

gtxracer 11.18.2007 07:12 PM

I just got two emails from him. He didn't even know what ESC and motor he has on auction...YOUR ESC and motor! Then I said he should probably put a DESCRIPTION in the auction and he replied "dont bid thanks".

Got him marked off on my "do not buy from" list. What a jerk.

sapper_triple6 11.18.2007 07:32 PM

Yeah I got an e-mail from him today saying the ESC doesnt work. I know it did when I sent it to him. Hes just trying to get his money back. I found out that my buddy here grew up with a guy that lives in Heyburn Idaho where rcwaffle lives. He might be paying him a visit or giving him a friendly phone call since its so expensive for me to call from here.

ClodMaxx 11.18.2007 08:22 PM

i know for a fact that he has... 'friends'... who bid his items up along the way so they end up selling for more.

he's quite the bat rastard.

You know if I were the really onery type, I would probably get in his "bidder's list" and send them the link to this thread. Just tell them to read it so they know what's going on over the parts from this truck.

If he is awarded the total refund, then all the parts will have to come back, and then there will be alot of paypal disputes.

Ya know it could get messy if he screws everyone involved.

Good thing I'm not the onery type.

I'm an hour and forty minutes from Heyburn. Let me know what me and *cough* my buddies *cough* can do! :diablo:

I think you need to e-mail eBay with your item #, the item # of the BL motor/ESC he is selling from that truck and include the Paypal information as well. At the very least, eBay should pull his listing for the motor/ESC since he claims it is broken, but selling it as working. If this guy doesn't get smacked by eBay for lying about this, he'll just end up trying to screw someone else over too.

Also, if there are any of you that can prove he's got people shill bidding for him, please e-mail eBay so they can look into it.

That's hard to prove. I mean let's face it, as you deal with people on Ebay, as long as you do people right, you make friends along the way.

I've never had anyone "shill bid" on ANY of my items! and never will.

But with people you have dealt with many times, it's not hard to say "Psssst, would you mind helping me out here?"

I believe a person either has a conscious and puts forth an effort to do what's right.........or they don't.

We are all rewarded for the things we do, good or bad acts, good or bad rewards. He will get his.

Finnster 11.19.2007 08:35 AM

I've bought from him before, and generally its been good, but some early items I got were more "used" then listed.
Too bad... Some is good, but some of the stuff is just recycled crap that never really gets looked at before its listed.

I prefer to get from nitronutz for new "used" Revo parts/

Hypersprint 11.19.2007 09:34 AM

Can we get a list going of known, trustworthy and honest eBay sellers?

I was just involved in 2 different auctions and luckily I was outbid in both.<br><br>A couple of days ago I was contacted by the seller (kewdkw262( 0 )) of one of these auctions wanting me to submit an offer for this item (New Revo 3.3 Roller} directly to his email address. I thought this was very strange since there was still 3 and 1/2 days left to the auction, but what bothered me the most is that this contact was not received through eBay! He emailed me directly. My first thought was "Great this guy has a hack into eBay to get email addresses", but it turns out that this guy just plugs your eBay ID onto all of the biggest email providers and sends these emails in bulk and hopes to get a hit. There just has to be something wrong when someone tries this hard to get your money. I did report it to eBay but it looks like no action has been taken yet. <br><br>Then yesterday I received an email from the Loss Prevention Department at eBay notifying me that the other auction that I was participating in had been ended and if I had bought anything from this seller to contact PayPal or if I had sent a check to stop payment. This seller had 3 "New Revo 3.3" and all have disapeared with 2 days left to the auctions. Since these items no longer exist I have been unable to find the sellers ID.<br><br>I could say more about all of this but I need a second to catch by breath.&nbsp; Sorry<br><br>

sikeston34m 11.19.2007 10:17 AM

In your preferences, choose "Hide my email" address. I will give my email out to specific people that wanna talk RC. But Never put your email address on an auction. There are hackers lurking Ebay looking for addresses to attempt to hack. They can send you viruses or attempt to slip in through a "backdoor" if your Email program leaves a port open in the background.

Security is an issue to be educated about. Never open ANY link in your email box even if it appears to be from Ebay OR Paypal, especially ones that say your account information needs to be updated. If you are wondering about your account with Ebay or Paypal, open a blank browser and manually log in to the address that way. You will find out everything you need to know, and be safe that you're not being tricked.

Links in emails often take you directly to a site, with an address "close" to appearing right, and the hacker has used the same html code to build the page as Ebay does. The difference is, it's not Ebay. Sites like this are constructed to steal your account. After obtaining your information, a hacker can change your password and lock you out. Who knows where it goes from there? Same with Paypal.

The Ebay feedback system is there to let you get a preview of the person you are dealing with, by seeing how they've dealt with others in the past. A person with (0) is a newbie. IMO, Newbies just opening up with High Dollar Auctions are ones to be cautious about. Building a reputation takes time. A trustworthy reputation takes more time and even more effort.

A good Ebayer will put customer satisfaction first. He will list honestly and accurately his auction descriptions. Then even If/when something goes wrong, he will go the extra step to make the customer happy and make things right.

One morning, I got up sleepy headed. I had a few things to ship. I packed up two things in two separate boxes. Then in the hustle of making sure my kids were getting ready for school. I printed out the labels and put the packages in the mail box on my way off to work.

Come to find out, I had switched those labels, put them on the wrong boxes. Someone who ordered 3 - A123 cells, now had a 7.4v 4000mah Lipo on the way and the other guy was getting the A123 cells when they were expecting a Lipo.

In fixing my mistake, I paid return shipping on both items. I gave a free A123 cell to the one guy along with a female Deans pigtail. The other guy, I paid return shipping and tossed in a few extra bucks. So, I didn't make much on either auction, BUT........the one guy has returned several times and bought things from me.

As an Ebay Seller, it is our responsibility to make sure the customer gets what they pay for. I believe a person is either Honest or their not.

Ninmaxx 11.19.2007 10:43 AM

I hope this works out and Rcwaffle gets what he deserves!:diablo::whip: I've never liked Ebay, It's a good idea, but there are too many a-holes that like to screw people over. I've tried to buy things on Ebay but always got screwed over because they never shipped it and I always lost contact with them, It's just to much of a hassle for me.

skellyo 07.08.2008 07:00 PM

He's back at his fraudulent ways again...this time, I hope he gets what he deserves.
