My Mini T with mamba 6800 on 5s lipo (119k max rpm, dont expect this to last too long)
http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000370.jpg My Dark Impact http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...S5000336-1.jpg My Yusa conversion http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000357.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000339.jpg My Rustler http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...Rustler001.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/S5000313.jpg |
That's a crazy mini-t. Surely 3s on that 6800 is fast enough. Can the quark take 5s?
Nice trucks though. |
Thanks.
The quark 33 takes 5s fine, it doesnt seem to have the heat issues I hear about from the bigger quarks. This is on the way to replace that 6800: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLWX7&P=7 |
you are insane
thats all i can say. |
My Maxx action picture - currently maxx is doing truggy makeover for coming season
http://radeks.net/temp/maxx.JPG My LRP Shark (aka Duratrax Vendetta ST) http://radeks.net/temp/shark.JPG |
how u likin the detta st? ive been looking for a new 1/18 and it seems pretty nice

With Permax 400/4D and 2S lipo it's a beast. For very tight tracks the buggy is bit better as it's more agile but ST handles bumps way better. It is best 1/18 truck there is in the market - even the RTR version runs very well. Ability to fit full size servo is a huge benefit (i run mini Futaba S9650 because of weight saving tho) Also it's sold worldwide (Duratrax Vendetta, FTX Blaze, LRP Shark, Anderson/Yokomo MB-4) so aftermarket support is great and you can get everything that needs to be updated for better handling and durability. |
Here are my two trucks at the moment. I plan on adding one more in the near future though.... but not sure which one yet.

MI is not bad truck but requires lots of investments to be competitive. Also Mi has split battery compartment so you need to move motor to the other side to be able to use long LiPo packs instead of standard Mi saddle packs. Vendetta also has 12mm hex adapters as standard, MI mas 8.something mm and has some issues with 12mm adapters and 1/10 onroad size wheels. |
Here's a picture of my collection. I forgot an old Duratrax Axis that I haven't run in a while though.

Nice!
Now that is just plane showing off:lol:. Nice collection JerryF504. Looks like you have been having a lot of fun. I just got my first Heli for Christmas. It is a cheapy though so I can start out softly. It is a 2HP Apache chopper with Lipo power. I did not want to spend too much until I get the hang of it. My boys have two mini choppers and they are really good at flying them. So if they can do why can't I, right??? Your trucks look great & we can tell that you take great care of your gear. Great work Man.
I have 4 SuperMaxx trucks under construction right now. I hope to finish all of them in the next couple of months so I can start playing with them. Each one will sport a different powser set up for my own curiosity, but all of them are built with that bulletproof mentality in mind. Nothing but metal construction through and through, with brushless motors, Lipo's and 333oz servos. These things rock. |
^^win!^^
The old TXT-1 project: http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...eil/truck2.jpg The Gmaxx project: http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...llaMaxx/81.jpg My first was a Tamiya Madbull- I put a 17t Yokomo Prostock2 motor in there... did nothing but spinouts, but the diff held up okay. |
here is my ride. it has changed a bit and is almost complete agian. I got the new quark today and hope to have it running soon. New updateds include(not pictured), new quark, cc bec, rpm skids, different springs, different battery hold down straps, new wing, and a new setup for the electronics.

That thing looks sweet. I'm noticing a lot of badland tyres though, 3 trucks already.
|
The wife said 7 was the max I could keep at once. the pic shows 6 but a Muggy roller was bought last week. Should see it by Friday hopefully.
FLM-Maxx, 2 E-Aftershocks, E-Storm SUT, Trinity NOW, BL Quake, E-Muggy coming soon... http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...x/CIMG1848.jpg |

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...s/DSCF0956.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...s/DSCF0955.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...s/DSCF0954.jpg |
wow that thing is incredible.... gotta see a naked picture of it!
also i have some badlands too... they are really nice tires imo. |
My HV tmaxx conversion will run badlands too! They look to be a good all purpose tire, which is what I need. I run on blacktop, concrete, grass, and gravel, and some dirt!
|
From what I heard Badlands actually aren't too great on paved surfaces, but they are incredible on anything else.
These are some NICE looking trucks. (Once I do a bit of tinkering with my trucks I'll post em up.) |

Here's my Rustler FLM extended Dragster. Pics don't show the foam rear tires.

That is one sweet looking paintjob Tash. I hurt seeing you putting RoadRash on it on Sunday. Hope you make it out next time.
|
wow tashtop that is one sweet paint job you did.
that is not a bashing body i hope! those yusas seem to be getting a little popular on here. there are 2 in this thread i think. i bet theres more too. |
here are a few of mine. Some of the pics are old, some are new. Here is a link to my RCU gallery as well:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/...y&memid=232918 Jammin X1-CR FTE. Paint by Daf. http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/atta...5&d=1199857848 http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/atta...8&d=1199857869 Crt.5 http://www.one18th.com/watermark.php...g&type=gallery Revo http://www.one18th.com/watermark.php...g&type=gallery |
rschoi_75 those are some sweet looking cars. I have to congratulate daf on the paint job on buggy but the others look awesome too. The .5 looks mean.
Note on the badlands: they seen to wear quickly running on the blacktop too. Definitely better offraod even though I didn't think they performed terribly on tar. I was actually thinking they performed well after what some people said. |
Thanks Tim. I definitely have a weak spot for good paint. I spend way too much time and money on shells.
|
Heres a action shot of my Revo before I converted it. I have a few more somewhere. I'll try and find em up and put em in a little.
(Its the blue one) http://i4.tinypic.com/6kjr43l.jpg |

heck yeah its a basher body. why do you buy them? i also have a yusa but nothing worth a pic for now. i'm going to try to make it back out to the drags again next running. see if i cant wear i hole in the top of this lid. |
Everyone who's been in the Revo forum knows PinkVo! She's getting some mashers, a good BEC, possibly a new lid soon, and I just slapped a Spektrum DX3 in her. Gonna try running 4S on her as well.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...o/HPIM1163.jpg My MGT, mostly stock, getting some 40 Series Mashers and a nice lid. Running on a Spektrum system as well. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...T/HPIM1162.jpg GreenVo, sold the other day  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...o/HPIM1149.jpg Some things soon to come: eRC8 possibly another MGT some kind of truggy - Mugen, Losi, AE, TTR - we'll see. Oh, almost forgot one :yipi: The girlfriend! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../Jess/mev2.jpg  :diablo: |
Nice catch tashpop, she is quite attractive (the gf)!
Does she still bash the pinkvo with you? |
Yep, just waiting on some tires and other parts right now. And some parts for my MGT, haha.
|
Nice gtxracer. Love the pinkvo... it was definitely a well documented build.
Very nice gf too. she's very attractive... but... does she approve of that poster hanging behind her?... :mdr: |
She does and likes the others I have except for two. Both of them are very "male oriented" and that's probably why it doesn't float her boat. They're still on the wall though :)
