Brushless lighting stadium sport help please
 

HI

I am new to rc monster and i want to covert a lighting stadium sport

I have about 700 dollars starting from scratch and i want to use a feiago xl motor. What else should I get any suggestions.

I have (2) 6 cell 3600mah intellect batteries that i could use or not. I would want to go about 30 to 40 mph. I also have a quick feild charger for lipos but is not very good it has 2 amp max and 1 amp for lipo. Please help

The Mamba Max ESC will work well for you. You can either make your own parts like motor mount, battery tray, etc. or you can send Mike (site owner) an email for him to make the parts for you. I would also recommend a new charger for lipo, as you will need to be able to charge at a much higher rate than just 1 amp.

Mamba Max = $130

TrueRC 4s2p 8000mAH lipo pack = $140
Superbrain 989 charger + Hyperion LBA10 balancer = $180
Total = $565

This will leave you $135 below your limit, so in reality you can interchange some of the electronics for some higher quality ones if you want.

good motor choice or a 7xl with 13 or 14 tooth wat batteries r u getting and is that a roller for that price

I am getting ture rc batteries (2) 2s1p 4000 mah so i will use both and have a 4s 8000 mah
8xl or 7xl
I am getting one and selling the nitro stuff

iight bro cant wait to see it get started building and i'd prolly go with a 8xl on those batteries 7xl will draw some amps
p.s. if u use both you'll either get 2s 8000 or a 4s 4000

Where did you find a LS10 for $150?

its a lighting stadium sport and i gettin it for 220 and selling engine, exaust, and servo

should i get this instead, 5000mAh 14.8V 4S1P or 5000mAh 18.5V 5S1P

a 5s would be perfect if i would mess up ur budget to much also where r u gettin one for 220 im lookin to buy one also and i've seen them for 270

i know this person. did you try ebay and you could sell the nitro parts for some money

now ur talkin bro that things goin to be a beast i'd pick u a 13 tooth also but 14 should run really good on 5s

I think you are pushing it expecting a MM to do 5s - some get it to work but not all. At a min you will need to do the cap mod.

PS You can get a MM for 115 and for the UBEC get a castle one for $21

The castle one will work fine. I really don't understand what the difference is though. Mikes bec will take higher voltage though.
