I'd rather spend the extra $5 and buy from a trusted and proven site such as Stormer.

Holmes Hobbies is quite trusted... The RC rock crawling community loves it, and the owner John is an active member here at RCM.

Since you're new here, you probably don't know, but John Holmes is a very helpful forum member here as well as a vendor on rccrawler.com. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone, anywhere on this forum or any other that has been dissatisfied with his service.

oh yeah, John rob holmes is VERY reputable.
He ships your product very fast. He has real life experience with everything he sells, and he is a major contributor to forums like these and rccrawler.

He is one of the best for customer service.

you won't be sorry. i've made multiple orders through JRH, and will continue ordering from him (for things that aren't offered by The Monster, of course! :yes:). between those 2 stores/sites, you won't find better customer service anywhere.

Whats tower's normal shipping rate for you guys? I'm in Australia and I'm yet to find anyone (online store or ebay seller) that ships for less than tower, so I guess that makes my mind up...

edit: Not dissing Holmes Hobbies or anything, If I'd bother to email I guess I could get an international shipping quote... surely there's only a couple bucks in it anyway, and if/when I do order mine I spose I would prefer to support such an active member of the online community...

Shipping to Australia depends on the type. With insurance generally $25, no insurance about $15. For first class service it could be as low as $10, but that takes a long time. That goes for any USPS order to australia basically.
