rustler sized 4wd vehicle
Whats a good 4wd vehicle about the size of a rustler. Either electric or convertible to electric. I love the size and weight of my rusty, but we all know 4wd is much more drivable (driveable?) Preferably something that can handle brushless power, thanks for any opinions.

CRT.5 or HPI MT2

+1 on the crt.5, with mike's ext chassis. Or a HB lightning stadium 10. They are cheap and make for good, lighter weight 4wd vehicles. Kyosho has some new nitro 1/10 4wd vehicle, but they might not be so cheap.

HPI MT2, Hot bodies Stadium 10

GS Shadow looks nice too.

are any of these able to handle brushless power?

If its gonna be a basher I loved my Lightning GT10. Same as the Lightning Stadium 10 only bigger tires, taller shock towers and 8 shocks instead of 4. Handels the grass and rougher off road situations bettter than a LS10

I'm liking the crt .5, I feel another project coming on..................

crt .5 (elongated either OFNA or RCM) or ls10

I just got a CRT .5 and so far am loving it. It drives soooo nice, and really makes my Rustler seem bunky. The revo doesn't even drive nearly as nice. Very clean and simple layout too. Easy conversion. I think all the diffs are 1/8 sized (at least close to it) and should handle quite a bit of power. I drove a MT2 a few times (nitro) and didn't like it much. CRT all the way.

yeah .5 crt is the way to go with waht your thinking in size
|
The only downside to the crt.5 is its significantly smaller than a rustler and being smaller makes it a little less capable of an off road machine. I'm not talking about the track. Thats what its designed for, but for any other kind of off roading its on the small side IMO. Street and parking lot running it kicks butt also.
Not taking anything away from the .5, just throwing it out there. You didnt say what you are planning to use it for. I am only assuming bashing since its going to be a rustler upgrade. |
Maybe look at the Cen ME16. I want one but it may be a bit small for your application.

I LOVE my .5 with Mikes goodys
It off roads a TON better then a 2wd rusty (I have been there, done that..) The EXT chassis is AWESOME! I say do the .5 |
