Mini Hyper ST

looks like the crt.5 has some new competition. Ofna is coming out with the Mini Hyper ST 1/12 4wd truggy around april or may this year. It looks like a great truck.

Sweet! from the feature list it looks like it will be able to give the CRT.5 a run for its money. Mike.... Extended chassis conversion kit in the works yet??

Looks nice - Not sure about the kink in the lower arms but the front uppers look much stronger...

Looks like it is stretched a bit anyway... Not sure what the brand differentiation is... Both ofna products...

isn't the crt.5 made by jammin' which is made by ofna? isn't it more of a clone than competition?

rschoi_75 02.08.2008 07:06 PM

well.... yes and no. This is coming from their Hobao division.

I do see some parts that look like they are from the CRT.5, including the front bumper/bumper mount, possibly the rear uprights, and front upper deck.

I think this and the other Hyper's are Ho Bao and the CRT's are Hong Nor.

Looks larger than the 1/12 scale crt.5

Maybe competiton for the kyosho 10th scale stuff that just came out?

t-maxxracer32 02.10.2008 01:55 PM

tires look cheap.

other than that it looks solid.

magman 02.10.2008 05:20 PM

looks like it would be a nice BL conversion

GO-RIDE.com 02.10.2008 05:43 PM

Those swoopy front arms don't look all that strong, but thickness and plastic are probably more important.

lincpimp 02.10.2008 10:51 PM

Any idea on pricing yet?
