HB center diff for t-maxx...spur gear kinda thin...should I upgrade?

Should I upgrade the stock,THIN HB center diff spur gear? The gear seems kinda small in relation to the mod 1 pinions

Pinions will last a bit longer with a wider spur

not sure about that one, many seem to be the same though. What is the diameter of the diff cup and the distance between the holes?
