how to make a Kyosho dst go 60mph+ ??

Is it possible to make an kyosho dst truggy go over 60mph on 4s an mm.esc and some motor like a neu...? or mabe a feigao 7xl ?

It would be pretty tough to do on 4s with a MM, more voltage would be better. But finding any tires that would be drivable at that kind of speed may be tough.

i think a set of phaltlines would do the trick.
also, i think you could reach those speeds with a neu 1512 or a 6xl.

but can a mm-esc handle it ?

The esc can, but I don't think you need an XL motor in the DST. Its 1/10th scale, so you could probably get away with running an "L" size motor of higher kv. On 4s, it could probably do 60mph. You can check out the rcm ext. Crt.5 set-ups and the HB lighting 10 set-ups around here. Those are pretty close to the size and weight of the DST.

Kyosho claims the DST is 1/10th but its closer to 1/8th scale than 1/10th
It would be like saying the revo is a 1/10 4x4 stadium truck.
