Will a sidewinder esc handel an eflite .25size outrunner on 4s lipo ?

I wouldnt even try it. Outrunner motors demand alot from the ESC thats powering it. I would go for a quark or a MM instead.

Exactly which Eflite motor is it? A lot of folks have used a Park 400 on a Mamba 25 with great results. The Sidewider should be able to handle much more than that, although not necessarily on 4S.

That's not really true. Most outrunners are quite easy to run in terms if current consumption.

Outrunners only cause issues with some escs, and that is generally the startup programming. I ran an align 430l in a 10th scale carwith a quark 33 and it worked fine. The mamba 25 is a good esc, and the sidewinder seems to be a good esc too. JRH has tested it with a variety of outrunners, if memory serves correctly. It really depends on vehicle weight and gearing. Plus if you want to run 4s lipo, you will need to disable the internal bec and run an external bec or receiver pack.

this motor has an max amdraw of 40ah so i hardly think it will be to mutch for the sidewinder:lol: i just whanted to know if it will be no cogging issues ?

Shouldn't be an issue, but will depend on the vehicle and the gearing.
