Motor selection ??
 

Ok so purchased a TC4 for my local onroad/oval track.

One of the rules is 6 cell max and no lipo's.

I have a mamba max and a Novak Super sport plus for esc options.

I am trying to find a good quality brushless motor to run. I am thinking I want to stay away from Novak stuff, no reason other than I dont like novak.

What is a good fast motor the would run good with a mamba and 6 cell??

why not a mamba motor. they run pretty good. u could also try the new lrp brushless motors. i have always been a fan of lrp and have had good luck with them.

I would do the mamba motor but they only go up to 7700. I see some of the guys running 3.5 novaks. I think the 3.5 are in the 10,000 range???

Orion Vortex...very nice motors. They have a selection similar to Novak in terms of windings, so just pick out what suits the track and your driving style best.
