Mechanical brakes on Emaxx?
Has anyone added mechanical brakes to an e-maxx? I am wanting to add them since I'm running extreme high voltage setups and the controllers available I'm using are the HV110 and Hydra 240. I'm thinking the Tmaxx brakes maybe adaptable, but has anyone tried?

The T-Maxx uses a whole different transmission, so it would be very hard to adapt brakes. What you can always do is buy a T-Maxx chassis and tranny, and then just make you own motor mount (or use the Revo mount) and battery tray. That is if you're willing to go that far.

I am sure that you could adapt mech brakes, most likely to the the rear of the tranny, I will take a look at my emaxx and let you know if it looks doable. |

You should not have any trouble with it.
If you want to mount the motor closer to the center, you will have to make a spacer that will lift the rcm mount up to clear the rear center driveshaft. I did it to the hv tmaxx that I am building here. Should be a good project, my only issue would be battery mounting, but if you use a single pack it can go opposite the motor. |
