best motor for .5 crt
 

alright guys here is another .5 crt question,i have a mamb max esc, and will run a 2 cell for a while,what is the best motor for this combo,looking for the most power and speed,feiago 9l? something not expensive either,thanks

I'd go a bit faster 7L runns nice...

will the 7l run good on a 2cell maybe later a 3 cell?

I run it on 3s and it runs fine... I'm finding 2s a bit tame but that could be in the gearing...

The 540C 9L in my .5 running on 3s 4000mah 20C Lipo geared 18/46 runs very well. Hottest it gets is maybe 140 deg. F, and it reaches a top speed just over 40mph with PLENTY of torque (IE backflips no problem off of jumps on an 1/8 track, even with an extended chassis).
