Castle phoenix 110

Is this controller could be use with a pistol type radio without any mod or pixstix cable???
I think i'll order one for my e-revo.

I had to use the pixstix to get mine to work with the pistol grip.

Why can't pistol grips be used with this? :S

It doen't have neutral. I didn't use the pixstix, but I had to change my trim and sub trim to make it work.

Can you explain exactly what settings you used lutach? I'm sure I can figure it out, but why "re-invent the wheel"?

To enter program mode in the HV110 I left the setting on my radio as is (TH Trim 50/50). After programming was done, I set the trim to -100 and the sub trim to max for brake. You will have to make little adjustments to match the throttle so when you give some throttle it will not have a long neutral range. Just have 2 model open on your radio. One for running the vehicle and one for programming the controller. Make sure brake is disabled on your ESC.

Is this a reliable controlller and this will be good for my revo with a Neu 1515 1Y on 4s li-po?

Thank you!

Is this designed for a plane/boat I take it?

It has break but we can't use it on Trucks (mechanical required) nor does it like Pistol Grip so much? Sounds like a pain, shame there isn't any other alternatives to running 12s! :(

This was a long time ago . If left my Throttle trim 50/50 the controller wouldn't arm until I pushed the throttle up (brake) and it recognized neutral. So what I did with the TH is set it all the way to negative 100 (JR radio) as well as the sub trim 100% brake. After that, I brought the throttle trim back torwards positive slowly until the controller armed. Then I just adjusted the sub trim to lower the neutral range a little. It was a pain the first few times I tried it, but after messing with the throttle setting for a while that it what worked for me.
