Need Info On Revo Hybrid Diff Sold In Rc Monster Store

I just blew a diff in my CF G3R and I am considering purchasing the hybrid diffs but before I spend the money I would like to know if it is worth it .Can anybody please give my some feed back on these.

I am running Novak HV 4.5 and 2 Maxx Amps 2 cell 8000 mah lipos.
THANKS TO ALL

In any case the hybrid diffs are very nicely made and will be better than the stock diffs. You will have to regear, as the gearing of the buggy diffs (43/13) is lower than the traxxas stock diffs (37/13)

Off ur subject a little but I keep debating going LiPo or not. I'm running a G2R with the Novak 4.5 also. What are you getting for runtime? I'd be interested in hearing about the diffs too as I'm sure I'm going to wind up having problems sooner or later

yes. the 1/8th diffs are worth it. They are tough as nails; you need to replace the front/rear diff at the same time because of the different ratio compared to stock.

I ran twenty mins. the first time I ran with those lipos and still had more juice. This time was the second time I ran those lipos and was going to run till the lipo cut off kicked in but my rear diff blew in the first 5 mins of this run.

Would I be correct in saying that the truggy hybrid diffs would be better than the buggy hybrid diffs for top speed.

Buggy difs have a higher gear ratio (43/13) than the truggy difs (43/10) so if top speed is you goal the buggy diffs would probably be a better choice.

I think I will go with the hybrid buggy diffs ,but can anyone tellme how the ue 8 spyder diffs hold up to that kind of power.

Perfectly, those are about the strongest diffs you can buy.
