3300 kv motor in a revo? rated like an L motor
 

heres yet another brushless motor question. im building a brushless revo... all i can use right now is a 3s lipo and 12 cell nimh. while im waiting to get a place to buy a mega motor since they are saying over a month till i can get one, id like to buy a cheapo motor to run for a month or two. what im looking at is an inrunner ammo motor at my LHS. i can get it for less than $20... it is a 3300kv motor. its 54mm long and 36mm diameter. pulls 45A constant and up to 100A surges. claims it can do over 1000watts.... and its rated for anywhere between 11.1 and 18.4V. would this get me by for a little while? abotu a month or two? i know it wont be the amazing performance of a mega or neu, but supposedly it compares to feigao L sized motors.

Gear for 35mph or less and you should be fine.

actually looking at the gears i have and the battery i will use it will be at just over 34mph according to the speed calc. and my revo is slightly lightened wit ha few thigns stripped off so... if it will be fine than thats great. thanks
