Slope test with my micro controller
 

When I saw this (http://www.sinusleistungssteller.de/MTruck.html), I was impressed as I didn't see any controller do that before. So I tried it with my micro controller to see if would be able to do it. Well, it did:yipi:. Here is a video:

Beeing able to stop the car on a slope and to start it up without cogging is impressive. Those Sinusleistungssteller ESC are a nice piece of engineering and seem perfectly suited for crawling with brushless motors. Seeing their Power output (and price) they seem to be more suited for big projects.

The brake of a Jazz ESC would be to weak at low rpm to stop the car on such a slope and it would roll down. Only when coming to full stop it would start up again.

Did you try to stop your car in the middle of your slope?

I did try it after 0:42, but the surface was a little slippery. I will find something with better grip and try again.
