It'll work you just have to use disk brakes and will have to use one of these to be able to run the ESC properly- http://www.rc-hydros.com/images/pistix.jpg

Have you personally tried one? I found out earlier that I would need a pistix to make this work. Just looking for a trial esc for a small project to run on 4s.

Ive heard of a few people that have used them on 1/8 conversions with great success. For that cheap I say give it a try.

So you will have the world's most powerful warhead huh?

Isn't that like being the world's tallest midget?

That esc sucks for the car conversion....
it only turns @ 25% or more... and it cogs like hell @ start, no matter which motor you use, # of poles, loaded or unloaded... and if you press throttle, the response is 1 second delay, and it continues going for another second... it's great for airplanes, just not great for conversions... I have two of them.. Get the $65 Turnigy ESC instead...
