Mm Question
 

Ok so i've been running my mamba on 4s in brushed mode with a revolver 650 motor and i forgot to disable the internal bec and had been running it with a 2700mah rx pack for the servos...the esc has a burnt scent to it but still works...do you think by me forgetting to disable the bec that it caused something to go out even though it was still working and also i am wondering if i could use it once i disable the bec or should i just send it in and get it fixed

It's hard to tell what the burnt smell could be. Open it up and check the underside of the PCB (the board with the USB connector). Look for discolored or cracked components. If there is one or two, the BEC could be the source of the smell. If nothing looks bad, it could be any of the FETs. I would send it in regardless.

FYI: I am 99.9% sure the two rectangular devices to the right of the USB port in the pic below is the BEC circuit. Check those and the area around them carefully:

thanks that's what i was thinking i just wanted to be sure ....i guess i'll jack my other mm off my 1/10th since it's down and out right now... and it'll be that way for a while since im in no rush to fix the diff haha
