is anyone using a HB center diff in your t-maxx...how did you mount the diff

I am looking for some help w/ a mounting set-up for the center diff in my t-maxx ( 2.5 ) bl conversion..I have already installed 1/8 diffs in the front and rear with the hybrid bulks Mike sells..SWEET.. and just have to finish the center mount.

Before I start cutting the chassis, I wanted some advice, ideas from you all. The end is in sight....FINALLY!

Thanks for your help

I would envisage something like a center diff unit taken from a 1/8 buggy/truggy, mounted to a metal/CF plate, and then bolt that to the chassis rails/braces, so that the whole unit pokes up through the hole (which would need enlarging) in the middle of the chassis- then just run the center driveshafts to the front and rear diffs. The motor would need to be bolted to a seperate mount, above the chassis and be adjustable up & down for gear mesh. Not the simplest idea, but do-able with a little effort.
