Brushless MRX-4X so far....

Hi, friends.

Allow me to introduce my newest speed freack, the MRX-4X.

Thanks to Rene van der Weide ( I think this is your full name, right) and Mike's support, I managed to convert this thing to brushless.

Right now, this is only the chassis with the motormount and battery cage.

I'm planning to use x2 4s 2170mah FP lipo in parallel configuration and maybe a Neu 1515, 1512 or 1115 motor( rpm range won't go below 3100) with a Tekin R1 Pro controller( not befor I confirm with Mike that it'll run good on 4-5s lipo cells).

Gearing will be like 46s:20p

I'm aiming at speeds near 70-80 or even 100mph.

Here're a few pics of the car:

Thanks! :)

Looks really good cant await to see it done!

I'll be watching this. I have 2 to be converted, but I'm going with 36 volts which should be a lot of fun.

Ooh, looks like a beasty creation. Anything with wider rear wheels than the front gets the thumbs up from me

Nice Alawi!

And yes, that is my full name indeed.

Those titanium screws are looking good on it. I was happy to see how sturdy the motormount turned out.

It was my pleasure screwing up those rod ends for you.. :)

Good looking onroad. 1/8 onroads are sickeningly fast and quick, so this should be one heckuva project.:mdr:

Thanks guys!

I'll keep you updated.

Okay, got a few more pics of this lady.

I'll show the car in it's full fashion once I receive the lipos:

Looking good Al. I stripped one of my Serpents a few days ago and I'm thinking of doing something, but I'll need a lot of work done to the car. When do you plan on having yours running?

Five-oh-joe 05.19.2008 11:56 AM

That's going to be one mighty fast car. Batteries are probably going to be a tight fit huh?

Serum 05.19.2008 01:02 PM

Where there any parts you didn't liked about the conversion Alawi?

Am i allowed to say that it looks good?

captain harlock 05.19.2008 01:35 PM

It looks just fantastic. It's thanks to God that he allowed me to meet such an inventive people like you and Mike, Rene!!!

I'm also thinking about a nice suggestion to buy you a CNC machine ( with a donation from each member here at the rc-monster forum) so that you can help Mike in his business and broaden the occupation of his field of interest and launch the rc-monster into the next level.

I'm ready to put in a $100 for a nice CNC machine for you, dude.
Anyone wants to volunteer?

True, Joe. I guess that 4s on a 1512/1d Neu is gonna fry my R1PRO, send this car to the moon and cost lots of stuff..
