if you were to sell a hopped up emaxx, would
you sell it with stock electronics, or offer it with a brushless system installed? i plan to give it up on ebay, but don't know how to offer it. there's another one, i'm not trying to step on toes here, but its simular to mine, and w/a brushless system, the price went up quick enough to impress me. i have no idea what to offer it at, so i figured i'd let the bids do the talking. i've thought about also offering to ad the brushless equipment at a certain price point, once the bidding exceeds it. basically spend more get more type of thing. any suggestions?
or could i maximize my profits by selling the brushless stuff seperatly? |
Usually parting it out gets more cash. You can try it altogether first with a reserve or high starting price with a buy it now.

Don't forget to list it on a bunch of forums. parting will make more money. I have seen used parts pull more than they do new!

Yeah, on one of the forums I moderate, i saw a Turnigy 100a LV ESC sell for $120 used.

i wouldnt mind keeping all my electronics for future projects but on the other hand im trying to fund some new wheels for my car and id like to get as close as possible so i dont have to save up. another option would be to go ahead with stock electronics and depending on what i get then sale some brushless stuff.
