sidewidner in a revo?
Ok well i know that the mamba max will be a better choice so you dont need to tell me to spend the extra cash and get that... how would a sidewinder do in a big conversion if its only running on 3s? it will be 3s with a mega ACn22/30/1 that runs about 3500kv and pulls a max of 65 amps... it is only 3500kv but it is a 6 pole motor... do you think it would still work well?
i think lots of smoke - 3s can draw lots of amps on a 1/8th - sidewinder is only 70% of a mmm - spend the extra or wait a few weeks for the big dog...
again i ask not to tell me to spend the extra cash...
:lol:thats at the limits and will run hot, it can be done, but it isn't advised. I'd say spend the extra cash:lol:

i got the money. or will by the time it comes out if it does... im just curious about the sidewinder. probably wont get it, but curious
heck, just try it if you want and make sure you don't gear for speed. keep plenty of air circulation for cooling and keep you runs nice and short. also run you lightest wheel/tire combo.
are you on crack i mean using a mamba max is like pushing that to its limit in a revo putting a sidewinder in a revo is called technically taking the piss.
no im on heroin... kidding but no i am not just gonna put a sidewinder in there to see. thats why i was asking. and i didnt know running a 3s on a mamba max was pushing the limits? in a revo its tough sure. but with a bec and not geared for more than 40mph...
Put a fan on the sidewinder. I have one in a pede and it seems like a good esc, not sure how well it will do in a revo. Gear it low, like 30mph and give it a try. Good airflow is a necessity...
no im not gonna get one cause its not all i need and i dont have anything else to put it in so...
if you do it be sure to get it on video....
i have one in a lightning stadium 10. much lighter truck, but always runs cool and works perfectly.
your also running a 10L in it... only a 2 pole motor...
