mgm 16024-3 advise
 

to anyone with advise please i have an mgm 16024-3 just installed and the thing only beeps and does not run , time to send back for repair or can give any help.

How does it beep? Did you look at the manual where it shows what the different tones mean?

Let's start here- Have you programmed it yet? :whistle:

Your batteries need to be fully charged or it will not recognize the proper cell count (that you set it to during programming) at startup and it will just beep.

If the above are correct then if you connect a battery with a different voltage to run with (ie a 3s lipo instead of a 4s) you need to re-program the "cell type" section or the same over/under voltage error will occur as before and you'll only get beeps.

ATM that's all I can come up with. Maybe others will chime in.

what kind of radio are you using. i had the same with my fasst 2.4 setup. you have to change the radio to non fast mode. i forget what its called

thanks tastpop for the help, the esc does not work when i set up on the computer and to set by transmitter is very confusing. maybe i have to send back ??? my other mgm works fine so i think this one may have a problem.

Did you get the esc set to the radio?

Are you using cc_02 cable?

hey bdebde yah all is good, i replacled the quark with the mgm first set up was good did a quick test then reset the esc via usb then nothing, just kept beeping ???? on my first mgm car all is good and i did the same with the second car and set-up
