Muggy shocks
Can someone give me the length and diameter of the muggy shock bodies and the springs? I was planning to use the LST2 shocks for my LSP but I didnt realized how HUGE it was. I saw a picture the LST2 shocks with a reg shocks but I thought they were comparing it to some mini shocks so they can show a size difference. If the muggy shocks arent any smaller, I guess I dont have any choice but to use them.

i thought they were the same size, but i may learn something here.
|
muggy shock are little bit shorter than lst ones but diameter should be the same
|
ok, thanks

Bringing up this old thread for the same question. What is the length of the Muggy shock fully extended and fully compressed, front and rear. And what is the diameter of the shock with spring.
TIA |
I can tell you these simple things, The LST Ti shock pins are too long for the Muggy shocks, they dont make Muggy Ti pins, Dont waste $30. Muggy shocks are all the same compressed or depressed the LST are smaller in front , Muggy size. dont mess with them. There are no muggy parts
lst are front muggy shocks but it will send you on a never ending nighmare |
Just FYI, I purchased Muggy shocks a while back to use on my XLB and found myself immediately ordering the hard anodized bodies. The Muggy shocks just weren't that smooth... Now with the aluminum bodies the things feel like a dream.
|
Actually, the anodized version is what I was looking at. But I want to make sure they are long enough to fit what I want to use them for. I can't seem to find dimensions anywhere...
|
Integy versions but figure the same length
SPECS: Overall length: 6.5" (165mm) http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKXH9&P=7 |
Oooh, perfect. I just got an Xray XT8 and want to set it up more like a MT with greater clearance and suspension travel. Thanks!

I have a set of 4 brand new muggy shocks if anyone is interested. I bought em a while back for a project that never happened. If anyone wants em PM me an offer.
