8xl or 9xl w/ my buggy on 4s
 

I want to buy another motor for my 1/8 buggy just to have...eventually I will get the Neu...but, do to lack of funds now, this will have to do.

I have a 9xl, but am concerned about heat w/ the 8xl

go 10xl and more voltage !!!! :lol:

I would go for more voltage but I am limited for now to 4s

I got very good temps & runtime using a 9XL on 4s, in my jammin buggy.

I also had great temps on my 9xl with 4s. Geared it 18/46 so it ran in the low 40's and the temps were consistently pretty low.

Speaking of the 9XL. I have one that I want to try out but the end cap has come loose. It almost looks like it was glued on. Does anyone know of a way to put this thing back together?

The end that came loose is the one that the shaft comes out of. Since that's the end that gets mounted, I'm thinking just glueing the cap on won't cut it.

I had great luck with the 8XL on even 5S on an emaxx. Don't see why it would not fly on a lighter truggy and 4S.

Another for 9XL and 4S.. but 12XL and 6S is better :)
