LiPo pack first charge
 

Hello,

I just bought 2 TrueRC lipo packs and I've read extensively about lipo safety.

The only thing I couldn't find was info on the first charge.

Anything special I should know? (I have an Hyperion 0606i charger with integrated balancer.)

Nothing special about the first charge so far as I know. I have heard that you want to go extra easy on the amp draw the first 3 cycles till the battery "fully cycles". I have also heard quite a few guys go with the 4.1v charge/ 3.2v discharge limits, just to further protect their investment.

Hope it helps (also hope some of the guys with high dollar lipo's chime in).
